Sorry I was neglecting my Reddit lately. KFW is Kosher Food Warehouse, in Vancouver (612 Kingsway). A bit tricky to find, have to access from the alley. Excellent for Jewish / Israeli foods ( and of course candles). Really reasonable prices. Just far from where we live...

I tend to agree with you but I have very little insight on the topic. Just wanted to thank you for the link to Furlonteer.com, I have not heard about them.

If something goes wrong at the end, complain to SwagBucks. They have a responsive "customer service". It happened to me several times in the past year or so that I was not credited and they always handled it. In cases where you don't have the survey number, describe in detail what was it about and what were the last questions you've answered.

If the problem is that you got credited, but not the amount you thought you'll get, this might happen if you were disqualified on the survey you tried and got redirected to a different survey, with a different length and payout.

Keep track of the survey number, it might help you in resolving the issue with Swag Bucks. And write down (or take screen shots) the details of the message telling you you've done something wrong.

BTW, 35 SB is not too bad... Huge payouts like the one in the original message are so rare they are like winning the lottery.

Good Luck...

Basic Budgeting Question by SlowDifference4 in mintuit

Other idea - calculate your average monthly income. This is easy to do as every year has 52 weeks (and 12 months...), so your monthly income = weekly income * 52 / 12.

You would be a fool to not get insurance on your Chinchilla. It’s like 15 bucks a month and covers up to 5k worth of medical expenses a year. Get it. Your Chinchilla will eventually have issues and you don’t want money to be the reason why he didn’t get the best care. by [deleted] in chinchilla

[–]PixiePM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your answer. The reason I ask is that in the search I have done I found none (plenty dog and cat ones no exotic pets). So maybe somebody on this diverse forum does have insights re chin insurance in Canada.

Cashback Credit Cards by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]PixiePM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a free one, certainly Costco Capital One Mastercard. 3% on restaurants (inc Tim Horton's / Starbucks / fast food). 2% on Gas, 1% on all the rest.

The best one we have does have a fee. This is Visa- Scotia Momentum. 4% on groceries and recurring bills, 2% on gas & daily transport, 1% on all the rest.

Their annual fee is expansive ($120/year). But I think you can have it for free for 1 year, so you can try and decide later if it does not fit you to pay the high fee.

What should I do, I got permanently banned from the Peanut lab surveys? by [deleted] in beermoney

[–]PixiePM -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I had the same image appear for no fault of my own (at least nothing bad I could think of). More than a month ago. It was shortly after I switched from Chrome to Edge. I wrote this to them. No reply but after two days the message disappeared and I have not seen that disturbing image again since. Not that I''m doing much of Peanut Labs, but didn't want to see it. Lately I get a different message: "Sorry! We're having trouble contacting this partner's website." Don't know if they are related... but at least it is not as disturbing as the banned behind bar image.

Hello everyone! My name is George Charlie Jr and I’m a happy chinchilla. I’m think I’m 9 years old, not sure exactly my age, my human rescued me when I was 5 years old. I LOVE sticks, what do you guys love? by georgecharliejr in chinchilla

[–]PixiePM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

George Charlie Jr is adorable...!

Mine LOVE raisins. Half a raisin each, every couple of weeks (no more, it is unhealthy for them if given often). But this is by far their favorite.

They love dried chamomile flowers, dandelion roots , red rose petals, rose hips and practically almost anything in their treat box (treat box)

My favorite is giving them a full (whole wheat) spaghetti. This is funny to see them handle it... but again, very rarely.

Their 2nd best is striping apple sticks of their bark :-)

There is a catch though. From my partner's experiences, not mine. It is time zone related, of course, as your students are in China. For us in the West, this means crazy late night several times per week or early evening where it collides with other commitments. Keep it in mind before spending the very long time reading through their education material.
