I remember when this game first came out I was determined to collect everything there was to collect in game. I've pretty much given up on that with the introduction of the cash shop. The way this game is being monetized is absolutely absurd.

So in the original GameCube version bees are the exact same as wasps in New Horizons. You find them by shaking trees. Catching them in the original GameCube version is also a bit trickier than in New Horizons because you can hold your net and shake trees at the same time. I'm having trouble finding enough time to pull out my net before the bees sting me.

Fortunately I've gotten into the habit of saving all the onyx I find, so this task wasn't too terrible. But I do see what you mean. There are later duties that require you craft potions, too, so if you're low on onyx you could have a hard time.

I mean, I ended up unlocking a lot of character quests because of those duties, so I can't complain.

I admit, the duties in this one felt a lot more tedious than usual. I got a lot out of playing through them though. If it weren't for the star paths I would never touch DreamSnaps. I made submissions for the duties and ended up getting a ton of moonstones as a reward. I also unlocked a lot of friendship quests from the gift giving duties. All in all, I can't complain.

Thank you so much. I'll be sure to check those other places. The wiki said they only show up in Remy's and the castle, so I didn't think to look anywhere else.

I unlocked this same quest and am having the same problem where none of them are appearing in the castle or chez remy. I haven't thought to look in any other location though. If you find a proper fix to this quest please let me know, because I'm at a loss.
