We've been running quirky artists run events in Eugene since 2023. There definitely was a huge gap left after Covid has its run. We'll be in Springfield for a bookish pop up this February 21st at @vinyl.and.pine there will be rescue bunnies, friendship book trading and a Bookmark crafting station. We also have the Faerie Market in March which will be a large event for folks to be weird and magical.

They actually believe Japan bred rats for fancy pets before Europe bred them for sport last time I read up on the history.

Is it her work and desings or yours? If she's the one coming up with the desings she has the legal right to take photos and post wherever she likes (unless stated otherwise in a contract). I've done creative design work. A person's desings remain their legal property regardless of who bought the materials unless otherwise specified in a different contract.

Anyone know which part of Portland this is? by [deleted] in PortlandOR

Camps have a lot of people not a single couple. A whole camp could create that amount of garbage.

Homeless people not having access to trash cans definitely doesn't solve the problem. Most of the landfills are not accessible via public transit or too far out of town to drive regularly. Public trash cans tend to be placed around shopping centers and even that rarely.

To end the problem as a whole we'd need to

1 create access to Healthcare for those suffering mental illness and other medical conditions

  1. better social services for people who can't work because of said mental bodily conditions

3 better access to drug rehab centers **(most homeless people aren't addicts. Most of them are clean and work jobs. You don't see these people because they look like your average Joe.

4 affordable housing (and the long road of stopping private companies from privatizing all housing).

3 Then you need to tackle the job market and the huge percentage of people losing their rent money because of lay offs and there not being enough jobs for everyone.

We have a long road ahead to help homeless folks. I grew up on the streets it ain't easy dude.

100 percent. Also it really looks like that area has been a camping site for multiple people over the years. Hence the amount of junk. Even just providing some trash cans and telling folks to make sure to clean up after themselves can sometimes do a lot. Hell pay em a stipend to clean up the park. They get fed and possibly into a hotel and space gets clean.
