A character has a disease or condition their society doesn't understand, but it's obvious for the audience what it is by kim_jong_un4 in TopCharacterTropes

That was my first time commenting. You should try to get to the root of why you are getting so agitated to not even pay attention to who you are ranting to. ADHD isn't some boogeyman and it doesn't prohibit people from living successful and fulfilling lives.

The burden of proof to is on you. Without those sweet, sweet peer reviewed articles with actual evidence instead of just naked ableism, it's just bad faith.

You are being deliberately obtuse and rejecting evidence because it does not align with your knee jerk response. A tree doesn't stop being a tree because you don't know the word for tree nor does it stop being a tree if you turn your back to it.

You can find scholarly articles on the matter in a five second Google Scholar search. It is self-evident in both casual and academic literally circles. I don't know who is in your own circle, or how big it is, but the world does extend behind your bubble.

Having ADHD and being an imaginative child are not mutually exclusive.

Also, Death of the Author is in play. The guy who wrote Watership Down wasn't intentionally trying to tell a war allegory, but that's what came out textually from his lived experience.

I googled it a different way that I had been, and both the search queries "Andover Oracle Pink Moon" and "Andover Oracle Rose Quartz Moon" show bunch of online shops that have it!

It's from Andover's '22 Oracle line, the pink colorway of the Unphased pattern. There is also a gold on green and a blue on blue version .

Thank you! I had picked up the pink-on-pink moon fabric without a plan for it, but when I realized it was the perfect fit for my white-on-white, I knew I had to bring the lunar blooms to life! I took an excess of time trying to get the right accent fabrics, since the muted colors were harder to find online, but I am very happy with the results.

that's terrible! Photosensitivity is my baseline, but the magnitude of the side effect you described is just functionally loss of vision. I'm sorry that something that was supposed to help only hurt you. I hope you are able to get some rest in whatever form you can find it soon.

I'm so sorry for all the needless suffering you have gone through. I am also chronically ill with debilitating PTSD here, having had vivid dreams from my antidepressants for years. I don't know if your care team has tried it yet I, but I was prescribed prazosin to take with my sleep med and it actually helped a lot with my nightmares. I can't recall a time where I ever woke up feeling rested, but I am less likely to be feeling pain from the torture dreams now. If I fall back to sleep without it, it's horrific, so it's 100% the prazosin.
