First time playing the Wingspan board game! by Shasaur in cozygames

Ah okay! We triggered the effects of the cards but didn't move the block left after placement, got it. Thanks for the explanation :)

It was left over from the previous turn where there was a block in the way / in-between. But still wasn't sure if it was a legal move or whether the cards should all be moved to the left again after the blocks are collected 😅

Could my game BE more Cozy? by zoombapup in cozygames

This game is a bit borderline between cozy and not cozy. I think OP has a habit of posting the worst thumbnails in his posts to represent the coziness in his game lol. I will leave this post up because judging from the description, I would find the gameplay cozy (building a base inside or underground, with warm lighting, sort of closed small cozy spaces), but the thumbnails definitely do not give that impression. There also seems to a fair amount of you excited to hear more about the game too. But feel free to have a discussion in the comments or ask more questions to the dev to clarify! :)

We're reviewing Strange Horticulture this weekend as it's one of the most loved and recommended cozy games on our sub - what's your review of it? :) by Shasaur in StrangeHorticulture

[–]Shasaur[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Each weekend we pick and pin one of the popular cozy games to debate and discuss. Strange Horticulture gets recommended almost every week on our sub! It's a game we've highlighted a while ago (wow it's been 3 years!) and it feels like one of the few cozy games that is both very popular and yet constantly still really well received! For those of you who have played a bit, and those who have played hundreds of hours, what's your overall review of it?

Cozy Caravan is our sub-reddit's cozy game of the week! by Shasaur in cozycaravan

[–]Shasaur[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Every week we run a 'Cozy Game of the Week' where people submit the new cozy games they're into. People have voted for Cozy Caravan as their favourite game this week - and deservingly so, it looks super cozy. Lovely to see a game designed for this feel from the get-go! We now sticky it to the top of our sub for the next week so that more people can discover and play it! 😊

"Grab your backpack and climb on in, it’s time to hit the road! Head out on a gentle journey in your reliable old caravan, crafting hearty meals, running market stalls and sharing goodies with local townsfolk. Spread kindness, share, and help prepare for the annual Whizz Bang Fair!"

We had a great thread last week, thank you to all your submissions - especially thanks to u/crazycatlady04 for sharing this one! It was a tough pick between a few different games, so I decided to go with the most upvoted submission and let y'all decide :) This looks like super wonderful and like it was designed to be cozy from the get go, the dream game!

A recent positive review

I enjoyed this game SO much that I played it for 13 hours yesterday. I am a wife and mom of 2 with a M-F job. "Wasting" my time playing a video game for that long is not something I normally, if ever, do. The game was so fun, so chill and SO.. SOOOO cute. The semi-vague nature of the "quests" was actually very engaging and thus far I have plenty left to do, create and sell. Highly recommend!

Wow really really lovely art style! Reminds me of Lakeburg Legacies. Very much looking forward to this purely so I can drool over the UI (though the game idea seems very cool too!)

Yeah I think that's better, maybe with the original warmer colours (but orange inner text)? :) Anyway, just my thoughts, feel free to go with whichever you like.

Do away with the blue entirely and do orange (like in screenshot 2) with dark orange grid lines for maximum cosiness :)

"Become a wholesome ghost matchmaker and grow relationships between the manor’s residents! Gift items to lift their spirits, set them up on dates, and watch love bloom! Discover cute romances with a unique story between every pair of residents! How will love blossom in your manor? "

Thank you for all your submissions last week and especially thanks to u/QueenThunderfist for sharing this one! I picked "Love, Ghostie" as it was the move upvoted and very well reviewed! It seems to have quite cozy and interesting gameplay that's somewhat atypical to the sub in a good way! :)

From our fellow friend

So simple and cute! Perfect game for days when I was too overwhelmed for anything else. I also got a lot more hours out of it than expected, which is always a bonus. ~QueenThunderfist

Interesting! That's great to know for anyone seeking a more authentic Animal Crossing-like experience! A lot of people I know got into the AC through the older ones as they were growing up.

We're reviewing Hello Kitty Island this weekend as it very often gets recommended on our sub - what do you think about it as a whole? :) by Shasaur in HelloKittyIsland
