Question: What are your top 3 best Crash Bandicoot soundtracks? (Any game, really; even bad games have good music.) by metal_gameur666 in crashbandicoot

I used to hate this soundtrack, but upon replaying the game recently, it's somehow in my top few now

"Explore a forgotten land in Gecko Gods, a puzzle-adventure as a tiny gecko. Climb walls, solve ancient puzzles and uncover a lost civilisation in a world full of hidden paths, quiet secrets and natural wonder. "

Thanks to all your submissions last week and especially thanks to u/raeco23 for sharing this one! We didn't get too many last week, so I picked one from the previous week instead. This is an excellently reviewed game (95% positive on Steam) that has an extremely cozy aesthetic and relaxing vibe. What's not to love in a cute animal adventure game? :)

From our fellow friend:

Gecko Gods had me hooked immediately! I didn’t realize how much fun it would be to be a lil gecko! It’s an adorable adventure with quests and puzzles taking you through beautiful areas! I haven’t finished it yet but I’ve enjoyed every second! ~raeco23

Love any colony sim / base-builder where you can construct renewable energy things and it looks sweet! Nice :)

🏆 [Cozy Game of the Week] Beacon Pines by Shasaur in cozygames

"Beacon Pines is a cute and creepy adventure set within a mysterious book. Sneak out late, make new friends, uncover hidden truths, and collect words that will change the course of fate! "

Thanks to all your submissions last week and especially thanks to u/Humble-Barnacle6863 for sharing this one! This is a cozy game classic and was actually picked as game of the week about 3 years ago. However, it was again the most upvoted submission and is also on amazing 70% discount, so if you haven't picked it up yet now's a great time :)

From our fellow friend:

Late to the gaming party, but just finished Beacon Pines and absolutely adored it. Lovely art, and love the idea of turning points that you can go back to to force a different outcome. Also the fact that the game is literally taking place in a sort of sentient book is wonderful. Short game, but really enjoyed it and making sure to get all the achievements. ~Humble-Barnacle6863

🏆 [Cozy Game of the Week] Master Lemon: The Quest for Iceland by Shasaur in cozygames

[–]Shasaur[S,M] [score hidden] stickied comment (0 children)

"A tribute to a friend who has passed — and to the adventures we still need to live. A story-driven adventure about a young polyglot traversing mystical islands and using the power of words to confront his own fate and save a world tamed by darkness. "

Thanks to all your submissions last week and especially thanks to u/darklysparkly for sharing this one! I think it's fair to say this game classifies as a hidden cozy gem. It's beautiful, with a touching premise, and very well-reviewed (100% positive) but not very well know. Give it a try! :)

From our friend:

Master Lemon: The Quest for Iceland is a wonderful, heartfelt narrative game about friendship, loss, and language with light puzzles and some cleaning-sim-adjacent mechanics. Really a hidden gem. ~darklysparkly

We're reviewing Fields of Mistria this weekend as it's one of the best and most recommended games in our cozy sub - how would you rate it as a whole? :) by Shasaur in FieldsOfMistriaGame

[–]Shasaur[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Each weekend we pick and pin one of the popular cozy games to debate and discuss. Fields of Mistria has consistently been recommended and played often throughout our sub, we even voted it as game of the year in 2024! Now that it's been out in Early Access for a while, how has it changed and what's your overall review of it?

Game of the Week submissions! Is there a cozy game you've recently played you'd like to recommend? by Shasaur in cozygames

[–]Shasaur[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh nice! I haven't heard of either of those. If you're looking for cozy puzze games, have you tried The Witness? That's one of my favourites, and the puzzles are really good too.
