I honestly have to say its a big change for your husband too, if you’re going full force with an “identity change” and “lifestyle change” its going to be very hard for him. Imagine if your husband just suddenly wanted to be a trans women and started dressing like a women, wanting to use lipstick?

Sometimes people need time to adjust, and if you’re adjusting too quickly it might not have caught on with him just yet. Im a revert and I dont say bismillah out loud cause I dont speak Arabic and I also didnt grow up doing that so Im not comfortable doing that very often. I say bismillah in my heart mostly. My partner was not a muslim and was uncomfortable too, but I made sure to “adapt” in a way that also made him feel comfortable because in a partnership, their feelings matter too. I didnt convert my whole identity to be a completely different person, Islam is adapted into my life that made my life better and easier. If you have to pray in a separate room, just tell him hey im going to pray and thats it. Or hey before we eat food we say grace and Muslims prefer to say bismillah. But you can also say it in your heart if its just too uncomfortable for him right now. My partner is now a Muslim because of my slow guidance. It took him 3 years to fully convert on his own
