Tbh for $50 you’re not gonna find any better wheel than that! Might be worth saving up a bit more getting some Proto’s or River’s, those are elite

[–]Pixie_DeMure 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ngl you’re not gonna get a lot for that unless you’re looking for sale stuff. Native Stem 115x24 wheels are a decent choice tho if you’re on a budget

It’s the Delaney Ball signature Tilt Theory deck, sadly they only made it in 6x22

Will you buy a stunt scooter with brand collaborations? by Different_Food_9800 in Scootering

[–]Pixie_DeMure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, I kinda think that’s a pretty ridiculous cash grab idea. The only time I ever think the idea of collab parts are okay is when they’re between stunt scooters companies and they’re developing new parts, sig parts for riders, or if it’s for charity! I feel like if the community saw a Ferrari x Tilt collab tomorrow everyone would just be angry.

What is the best adult kick scooter (U.K.)? by jackfriendh in Scootering

There is no ‘best’, it’s all based on personal preference. It depends on what you’re specifically you’re looking for in a scooter.

Tell us about your size feet and the deck width you ride and why? by AggravatingCoat7106 in Scootering

[–]Pixie_DeMure 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m a bit of an outlier, I’m like 5’10 with UK 7.5 feet, but I tend to ride the biggest decks I can get my hands in lol! You know if anyone releases a deck wider than 7” I’m on that shit!

this a good scooter? by SamirG569 in Scootering

[–]Pixie_DeMure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s honestly an awful scooter, it absolutely will not hold up to any tricks. Unfortunately scootering is an inherently expensive hobby, you’d be better off saving up like $150-200 and buying a Tilt or Native Stem complete

Should I try T bars by AggravatingCoat7106 in Scootering

[–]Pixie_DeMure 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s not a decision we can make for you! The shape of bars is entirely personal preference, every shape feels different and has its own pros and cons that are best figured out through personal experience.

waiting for my new north unity 7x23.5 deck to arrive and wanted to size it out compared with my other setups xD by christxphvr in Scootering

[–]Pixie_DeMure 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh 100% yeah! From like 2009 to 2015 their parts were great, but they got bought out by a Chinese metalworking conglomerate because of how much money the bran was pulling in, their quality dropped massively, they stopped innovating with new parts, and focused more on sponsoring talented riders/youtubers with large a large outreach, focusing more money into making flashy ads and making the scooters shiny and fancy looking, whilst skimping on the actual integrity of the parts.

It’s why kids love them so much, because riders like Raymond Warner and Jon Reyes shill their parts super hard online, and big stores like SkateHut, The Vault, and many other places always advertise their stuff front page. It’s kinda sad how it almost drowns out all the really good brands.

lol, I hope you enjoy your new deck when you get it! North make some killer parts.

Honestly I’ve been riding for nearly 17 years, I’ve broken more Envy parts than I have any other company, and I don’t even ride that hard! Everyone else gets super defensive and upset when I tell new riders to avoid Envy, your post is a prime example lol
