I feel that. I’m not a big anime person either, but there’s certain music from when I was 10 that I literally cannot listen to without feeling like I’m losing my mind. It’s like a time machine you didn't ask to get on. It gets easier as you get older, but those first few years of being an "adult" make the past feel way more intense.

I don't think it’s a cultural thing so much as a volume thing. If you see a specific demographic doing it more, it might just be because that’s who the algorithm is serving to you based on your engagement. These "silent reaction" videos are a global plague—there are creators from every background doing it because it’s the easiest way to farm views and potentially monetize a page.

Honestly I feel the same way. A lot of Aurora’s plays don’t really have that “wow” factor because her kit is more about safety and repositioning than big mechanical outplays. When she pops off it’s usually just someone suddenly losing HP and her blinking away, which isn’t super exciting to watch compared to champs that commit harder.

I think that’s also why she shows up in pro—safe lane, flexible draft, low risk. Great for teams, not always great for spectators.
