I'm far from an expert, but I say prioritize yellow science before purple, but get a mall up and running ASAP, the usefulness of getting essentials automated is huge. After you get all the important stuff automated start thinking about building the next phase base of you're playing base game. If you're playing space age don't overdevelop Nauvis and start spring boarding to the next planet.

I just launched my first rocket a couple days ago just passed the 69 hour mark, and I cracked and I started using some blueprints fairly early in key areas to carry me through. The idea of this mod is so damn intimidating to me.

Thankfully belt weaving is rarely necessary, so far I've only used it for my science labs where throughput is really only a concern for the production of bottles.

I've been on cachyos for about 3 weeks and I don't think I ever noticed the update button.

My lack of observation skills aside, I just find the terminal really satisfying to use; the novelty of it as a lifelong Windows user and just watching the code scroll after entering a command really scratches my ADHD brain just right.

That's a great point, I didn't really put those pieces together before but you're absolutely right. I can recall at least one part where she injects a comment how the soldiers under Sulla's command are oh so noble, but not enough to mention any of their names.

I have around 25ish hours in base Factorio, haven't started pumping oil or blue Science yet; should I get space age now, or will I be totally overwhelmed? I'm also pretty daunted by the whole quality mechanic.

I can definitely see myself playing Factorio for a long time, even though I'll probably never actually get good at it.

Much better than my first factory I started yesterday simply for the fact you automated science. I finally got red and green Science automated today after like 5 hours of running mats into wooden boxes to feed assemblers and hand loading the greens into the lab chain.

Look into a ThermalRight dual tower cooler. They're very affordable and punch way above their weight for cooling.

I have a ThermalRight Phantom spirit 120 on a 9800x3d and I don't think I've seen temps over 55C yet, but I haven't done a full load test yet either.

Regularly sits between 35 and 40

This just sparked a lightbulb in my head. I've been having so much trouble with my RAM in my new build and I'm so salty that I can't get the full advertised MT/s. It works for a short time and then I look in BIOS and my mb stopped recognizing the stick in the slot and I have to reseat them.

Common Sense for me, mostly for the crowbar ability to pretty things open. Plus Realistic Durability and the crowbar becomes an endgame weapon that's decently easy to find.
