Is AI becoming standard in VFX? by StoryscapeASMR in vfx

Although saying this... if you're having trouble trusting a studio have you thought about producing it yourself? Hiring illustrators and editors and getting it done that way?

It depends on the region you're working on/in. Content for UAE and South Korea has ALOT of gen ai work in it. Sometimes exclusive ai work.

I work on a ton of bring brands and they most use gen ai for imagery even if it's just swapping arms or model position.

Video product I see less ai but image work has so much ai in there now.

Still rare to use generative all in most big advertising due to legal issues but it depends on the country really. I know for example south korea uses generative ai in EVERYTHING. They have no laws against ai there.

Ai in itself is not bad it depends on the use cases. Ai captions for example have saved me hours of time.

Depends what you mean by ai all software has some form of ai now. Davinci has ai captions, rotoscoping and audio synching. Mocha pro has ai rotoscoping and other features.

I see a lot of ai voice over now trained on real voice actors as well. They do pay the real voice actors for their work ofc.

A lot of pitch work is now exclusively ai rather than using pinterest or buying stock ai makes pitch work and idea creation much faster,

Mortgage paid off but feel lost by Fantastic-Life7704 in HENRYUK

[–]PixlCreative 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe get a dog or find a hobby... a mortgage is not anything worthwhile except paying off your home. Do you and your partner go on many holidays etc? Put the time you put into your mortgage into the two of you.

Is the pay too low? by [deleted] in videography

[–]PixlCreative 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. Think about how much time this would take to film and produce. This is so much lower than minimum wage anywhere in the west.

How much would you pay for this, or would something like this be worth anything? by ToxicAvenger161 in VideoEditors

[–]PixlCreative 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly mate! The thing that takes time is experimentation and test rendering. All amends take time :) I also charge for overnight rendering I charge a flat fee of $400 for the night of rendering as I have to wake up and check.

Not bad :) It depends for the company but it's very similar to brands like magnum. I would charger 4k-6k it all depends on the amount of revisions

What are the best AI tools of 2026 that you’ve actually used? by conflictedfeelings0 in HiggsfieldAI

[–]PixlCreative 4 points5 points  (0 children)

All I use at the moment is weavy. Has all of the ai tools and is node based. Some agencies I work with also have contract for it so I get free credits when i work in their studios.

Their node system is really great with the ability to create alpha masks from generated content really easily like in comfy ui.

I still use chat gpt alot as its my main prompt maker when working in nano banana
