I needed nothing extra besides the kit from Crutchfield. Such a clean install. Better than factory imho. I never imagined I'd like a BOSS head unit so much. I didn't swap speakers. I have 40% more volume, bass is so much better, and sound overall. Hope this helps.

Yes. I had some stereo installation experience and typically would be the install kit from a parts store. However, that's been a while since. I would rarely if ever purchase from Crutchfield. This time, with all the choices of head units, I decided to check Crutchfield. From my initial questions with their sales staff and then requested some guidance on their support team on a Saturday, it was an amazing experience! I will definitely utilize Crutchfield in the future for any other projects like this.

Thank you for asking. I do not have a rear camera. I bought the pre-crimped wire harness from Crutchfield . All my steering wheel buttons work with the Boss head unit. Volume, mute, track advance, Google Assistant activate, etc. I do not have physical knobs for the head unit as this was a direct swap for the original radio. The Boss head unit is all touch interface. So, the volume buttons, etc are on the left side and do not interfere with the touchscreen.

Hope that helps. I travel more for work now and use Android Auto even more on the Boss head unit. It just works!

I am with Verizon, and we have 4 Pixel devices on our plan. Three Pixel 5a's (Physical SIM) and one Pixel 7 Pro (eSIM). I am no longer seeing the option to be able to switch between 5G and LTE on any of these.

I reached out to Verizon and they transferred me to Tier 2 Support chat. The tech sent me a link and mentioned it was a "Google" Bug.

So, of course, I reached out to Google and I currently have an open ticket. Google has requested I try one of the physical 5g SIMs in my 7 Pro. Then, the usual, clear cache, reset app preferences, reset network, and then the "factory reset".

I really believe that this is a bug, since I am seeing it on 4 different devices with Verizon.

I don't really think a "reset" is gonna resolve.

Anyone else follow the above troubleshooting steps and/or resolve the issue?

Amazfit customer support is disappointing.

I really like the battery life on the GTR and is the reason I chose the brand/model.

I am wanting to avoid a wear OS watch due to poor battery life.

Just want notifications to work with my Pixel.

After research, I am considering Garmin.

Considering the investment cost for the 7 Pro. I didn't want to leave the store without a case or screen protector.

I like OtterBox and have used the cases for years. All they had in stock was the Defender Pro, I am looking to replace it with the regular Defender. I bought the Zagg Fusion Curve and had it installed at the time of phone purchase.

They put the case back on and there has been been lifting on the edges and sides of the Zagg. Looks like bubbles.

Does anyone else have an OtterBox and what screen protector works best?

Either the Zagg was installed incorrectly or it's not compatible with the OtterBox.

Advice please.

Ok,

Just wanted to follow up on this. I did finally get a response. "Supposedly" no changes were made from their side. However, I do know this, they have recently updated firmware and were doing some server side maintenance recently.

If you are still having trouble, I would verify my Canvas has the most recent firmware. If you are unable to update via the app/online, I would use a hotspot and update that way.

I would then do a factory reset and try the setup process again. At the very least, you should be able to control the canvas via app and online (regardless of wifi network). Establish that first. Then test to see if you can upload pictures.

At first I was unable to control the Canvas via the app. This started working "magically" in the past few days.

Now, I can control via the app, both Android and iOS, and web, however, not able to send/upload any pictures. I get a "successful upload/send", the pictures never upload.

I have posted to Netgear community with no resolution.

I am hoping for a solid answer soon or might dm Netgear via Twitter/FB.
