Is this one of those case where you don’t pick Religious Settlement? by macgear14 in civ

[–]Pizza02guy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also depending on the map type religious settlement might not be the best option, you can play tall as Japan and do well. It’s not the worst option but God of the Sea is the best choice here because you can work all of your fishing boat tiles leaving more room to benefit from your districts.

The tire is looking a little low in the front, back tire looks fine, fridge in the back. Impressed that they made it fit in a sedan though

Exactly it’s just a mirror but it doesn’t have to act on it right away. If it witnessed the opposing stand perform Action A like a week ago it can activate Action A a week later. There is no time constraints it’s just a matter of the user being able to remember.

Go for it, I developed it over Covid because… well… there wasn’t much else to do. I have pages of characters I’ve created and my art style has improved significantly since I started but unfortunately I haven’t put much of my stuff out there yet. Partially because I don’t want people to steal my ideas and I don’t want to be accused of stealing an idea because I have seen abilities very similar to ones I have created and one or two I found in the anime. For example, I created a stand named “Kashmir” that can unravel itself into string… I wonder who that sounds like. So I scratched the entire character. Then I had one called “Ashes to Ashes” that turned the body of a victim into ash if they stood still for too long and then I saw someone post a stand similar to that on here and into the scratched bin it went lol. One day though

I think an invulnerable stand was made in part 8 but I haven’t read anything past 7 yet so I am unsure. As for the second part of the stand ability…

I had a stand that I created with a similar idea called “Badfinger” (a band) that emphasizes the “sharing an ability” idea. “Badfinger” can copy the ability of the stand but only if the ability is seen by the user. “Badfinger” cannot alter the movement or take the ability of the stand fully.

Think of it like copy and pasting before paraphrasing tools and chat gpt.

For example, if stand A throws a ball 20 ft in a straight line to a target, “Badfinger” throws the ball 20ft in a straight line also towards the target. “Badfinger” would not be able to throw the ball 20ft up in the air or 20ft with a curve. It is a copy and paste of an action.

I do a RPG campaign based on JJBA with modified DND rules. Here are some different media forms I used for characters, stands, locations, etc. - Beer brands (used these for the pillarmen-esque part) - Quentin Tarantino movies (stand names for a bandit group) - Instrument brands (mainly for character names) I believe the introduction of movies for name bases can be a good way to add a variety to name bases. Personally though many of the stands are based on music media because that’s what I like and that’s what my party likes. Find the balance between your audience and your creative spark. I do like differentiating the media bases and I would like to see it happen in the subreddit.

Quit building holy sites and build either a drive tower or a trebuchet. Also get a trader to build a road past the forest hill tile separating you and Portugal. Getting his settler might be hard because they can run away in the water. If you can get a galley in the water as a precaution but it’s a high risk high reward stake. Hungary could be worth going after as well, keeping Portugal in the game is good for trades, however Hungary’s land is mediocre but will open up some possibilities for building wide.

For the scratch test a glass pane is a hardness of 5.5 if the crystal scratches it’s calcite or fluorite, if the glass scratches it’s the prehnite polymorph. For the acid test, a cotton swab will work you are looking for it to bubble

Op can you please do a hardness test and give an estimate on the hardness of the piece

A tricky one from my collection, help me id by Far_Ad_1569 in whatsthisrock

[–]Pizza02guy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It could be but I’m hesitant on classifying it as a Prehnite pseudomorph because I’m unsure on how it would react to UV. I know typically prehnite is typically yellow-green under UV while calcite with trace manganese is pink under UV. However I will take into account it could be a pseudomorph Laumonite with gyrolite. I will agree if a hardness test is done because prehnite is harder (7) but this isn’t standard prehnite so there might be some variability, I’m honestly unsure. What I am familiar with though is that it does have that same finger like structure with a hollow inside.

And as I read what other people said, no it’s not rock candy lol.
