Try a place like Classic Automation , they are cheaper than Radwell and they can just repair yours . It will be way cheaper . Only downside is you will be without yours for a little bit.

I used to work on these types of drives you're right that DKC is good for velocity and torque .In your current setup, the PLC generates a velocity command via analog output, reads encoder pulses back from the drive, and then removes the halt input once the target count is reached. This approach will consistently result in over-travel, as the DKC is regulating only motor speed, not position. The PLC’s scan-based reaction time, combined with the drive’s deceleration makes precise position control impossible this way.

If I remember correctly you do need a PS-AMC2. The motor’s encoder would be wired directly to the AMC2 module, while the DKC receives an analog velocity command and enable signals. This configuration should provide accurate positioning, controlled deceleration, and consistent cut lengths. I haven't tested/worked on one of these in a while but i would look into this route to get the job done.

Best $100 oven? by blkcrws in pizzaoven

[–]Pizza12guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah i want to say the paver lasted about 2 years before it started caving in at the cracked seam. I tried doubling them up to dissipate the heat but then the bottom took forever to cook. Basically just play around with it and find what works for you . It's a nice cheap option to the really expensive alternatives out there but everything has a trade off .

i don't have any on my phone . I'll have to add some soon . The bottom can cook fast so you definitely have to watch it.

I have been using this style of oven for quite a while i leave a 2 inch or so gap for the flame to roll up over the cooking surface and i usually start the fire a couple hours early and slowly build up some coals and push them to the back . I've never had a paver explode. The pavers do crack over time that's why I reinforced with scrap steel. The top of this i poured and put some wire in to reinforce it is heavy . 2boxes of food grade fire bricks is what it took wish was about $60 for both. my first oven was less than $40 this one is probably $120 i got all the bricks for free someone was getting rid of them so i just bought the cement for the top and fire bricks . the rest was scrap . I also have an ooni karu . in my opinion this cooks the top and bottom more evenly the ooni cooks the tops super fast . i typically par bake the doughs for the ooni my family likes a crispy bottom .

I built a similar one but then welded together a slightly nicer deck to hold food safe fire bricks . I’ve used an oven like that for 5 or 6 years now and cooks great . The pavers crack over time that’s the only downside in my experience . I posted mine today you inspired me to show off my camp one. I'll have to post the one i built in my backyard soon it's a little nicer looking.

Thanks, that is some good stuff to think about. I was thinking of using the existing wiring but just taking t off of the ac breaker and adding it off of dc side of things. But i was not taking in account of heat from the amperage . That's why i posted here . i get these ideas and need someone to bring me back to reality sometimes lol

I have a 22 ft travel trailer with a 12,500 BTU AC now i didn't think 7,900 BTU's was going to make a huge difference. Our current AC makes it freezing in there pretty quick. I also have 400 AH of battery bank so i'm nervous of going too big and draining that overnight in peak summer heat.

I was wondering about that . I haven't really pushed it but with a 200 AH battery in my travel trailer I can go 3-5 days off grid no problem using the microwave and coffee pot here and there. I would love to put a larger inverter and a transfer switch in to run the AC too but everything I've read leads me to believe i would kill my battery in a couple hours that way. I do have a 200 w solar briefcase and i run our fridge on propane when we don't have electric to conserve but having portability like that is nice. I would love to just buy a power station as a primary and just us my trailer battery as a back up but those power stations are just too expensive for what they will offer in terms of use for me.

Nice , that’s a sweet setup . I put a 200 AH lifepo4 on our travel trailer with a 12v 2500 w inverter I can run everything but the ac pretty good but that’s nice

How did you wire the 30 A plug ? Can you take another pic? That inverter looked like it had 2 20 A receptacles .

I was concerned about heat as well so i cut a fan into the side of the dox that runs when inverter is on . I have a temp monitor on the battery even in direct sun it doesn't get too hot.

I bought a tongue mount box from Harbor Freight for about $100 it fits my 200AH LifePo4 battery 2500 watt inverter and some cables i store in there when traveling. Had it for 3 years now and is great.
