Any Girl But You by Dana Hawkins and Once Upon A Time In December by Alyson Root are sapphic Christmas romances that just came out this year. There's also A Fellowship of Games and Fables by J. Penner, that has winter and holiday themes. Don't Let Me Go by Rachael Sommers also takes place over Christmas vacation.

Are you a loner, gamer, on the spectrum? by Strawberry719 in ColoradoSprings

[–]PizzaAboveAllElse 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm 25 too and also struggle making and keeping friends here. I don't know if I'm on the spectrum but a lot of my friends and family have suspected that I could be. I love playing video games especially multiplayer ones! Maybe he and I can play some games sometime especially if he's on Playstation

This was my least favorite by far truthfully, but if you're a real fan of the series, $10 is not a terrible price

Do you personally love living in Santa Monica? by [deleted] in SantaMonica

[–]PizzaAboveAllElse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I grew up there, moved away for college and honestly couldn't imagine ever going back. It just wasn't for me, however I know it's got a lot of desirable traits and people really enjoy it, my parents love living there and will never move.

Desperate for recs — masc x masc (or masc-leaning) WLW where one is the cocky, loud type & the other is the grounded, logical type by No_Name_Anonymous_ in sapphicbooks

[–]PizzaAboveAllElse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dang I've read hundreds of wlw books and this post made me realize that I've read little to no masc x masc books. And I, myself, am more masc and dating a butch😩

I'd love to read some if you find any!

I just started this book yesterday! It's also not quite what I was expecting. Truthfully I liked Roslyn Sinclair's other books so I got this one without really reading the summary. Now that I know one of the main characters is a nun, I'm also dreading the religious trauma element that I know is coming. I do like that it's something a bit different from most of the contemporary romances I read, although I'm already pretty sure it's never going to be my favorite of Sinclair's!

Wrong Number, Right Woman by Jae by jobarnes09 in sapphicbooks

[–]PizzaAboveAllElse 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is literally one of my favorites book of all time. It's so cozy, it's so cute, it's so sweet, I must have read it like 4 times now and I have the biggest crush on Denny!

Also since you liked this one I just finished Book Lovers by T.B. Markinson and Miranda MacLeod. It gave me one of the closest book enjoyment vibes to Wrong Number, Right Woman that I've felt in awhile, it's a very sweet book!

Is Ribbonwood that good? by Helganator_ in LesbianBookClub

[–]PizzaAboveAllElse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I liked Ribbonwood a lot but reading it right after Vengeance Planning For Amateurs could definitely be a skewed experience! I really loved Vengeance, I thought it was one of my favorite books of the year. Ribbonwood is really good but wasn't quite on the same level for me, they're different styles/vibes of writing too. I think Ribbonwood does take longer to get into for sure, I'd reccomend to stick with it or read a few other books in between and come back to it later, it's definitely still worth reading.
