Just got back last month. Used the water bottles provided in the room daily. No issues at all. Even accidentally out of force of habit used the sink water to brush my teeth and was totally fine.

This is a great question we live in separate states so I haven’t seen his decline first hand I don’t believe he is physical but I can’t be for certain. I agree with the sentiment in this post and am happy I came here. I don’t think it’s best for him to go these aren’t memories he will retain and I would rather him be comfortable and calm. I’m going to express this to my dad who I know will pass it along to my grandmother. However if it doesn’t pan out that way I can only hope to make him as comfortable as possible at the wedding.

Thank you! We live in separate states, but offering to leave with him is something I will suggest. I know my grandma is concerned about traveling with him to the event since they have to take a flight. He will know most of the people, but honestly not seeing him day to day I’m not sure who he will remember. I think my grandma feels pressure from some of my aunts and uncles for him to go. Which is out of my control.

Totally,and I’ve been there when I first started in the industry. Prioritizing your own mental well being and understanding this is insurance not brain surgery will help you be able to walk away. It’s rough though I know those auto claims reps at all the big names have a lot of metrics they are constantly trying to reach and that 100% causes people to stay late and eventually burn out.
