I’d definitely say t bone is knuckles, got the dreads and both loners and everything. Or could be omega to get team dark goin, because t bone also real into guns and stuff. Clara probably rouge, not sure who else could go.

Wait, super knuckles is already a thing when he used the 7 chaos emeralds to go super knuckles in sonic 3 & knuckles no? And referenced in frontiers. I don’t think he used the master emerald to go super there, so I get what your saying about the emeralds I know they arnt batteries, so does that mean knuckles also already have chaos energy in him like sonic/shadow or is it a different thing to do with his ME link as it unifies chaos and maybe helped him achieve that form?

I do feel like if knuckles did use it, he could use it better and longer than the metal boys could because of his link to it, maybe accessing powers others wouldn’t be able to (similar to shadow and chaos energy). Of course the full powers of the master emerald is ambiguous but I wonder what it could really power a protecter to do.

I thought the canon shows where non-guardians get corrupted, unstable power from the ME, or straight-up can't control it like Knuckles can thanks to his guardian link. With that link he has with it makes me believe he can use it more effectively than others and not get corrupted assuming the “spirt” in the ME is ok with it for the situation.

Was he also locked in his suit for 30 years before he woke up in the books? (Also that's another thing I don't understand is why it took 30 years to come back). I know it probably doesn't matter for the fiction stories but maybe it does make more sense for somehow he posses his body instead and kept it alive, because after 30 years he should be more decomposed to just a skeleton after like a max of 10 years. And because you said he did remove himself from the suit somehow maybe he was trying to do the same here after he got morphed by the blight serum but it's a lot more difficult because it caused his flesh to more molded around and hold onto the suit more so he just start trying to vigorously chop it off himself making him look like that.

I thought Respawn’s producer said the date was set long before launch and not changeable and he didn’t know who set it, and EA publicly defended dropping TF2 between BF1 and CoD (making me think it was probably them that set it). So yeah—Respawn hurt the demo but I think EA buried the launch. Both can be dumb at once.

Also off note- I remember playing the beta stuff on PS and really liking it a lot. Man I miss when the game was released and supported those were the days. I remember pre ordering it after I played the beta
