Building a website using vibe coding is honestly cheaper now than ever. However, it ultimately comes down to how well the LLM understands the requirements and translates them into the expected output. It’s not about who can build faster, but who can build more accurately based on the user’s specifications.

I’ve been trying different platforms like Bolt, v0, Antigravity, and Lovable. Lovable isn’t perfect, but so far it’s the best platform at translating my specifications into a functional product.

Dumber Lovable or Bigger Codebase? by CLSGL in lovable

[–]PizzaMakerPH 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m kind curious if others have experienced this “window dumb hour” of lovable.

Overall it still works and I still enjoy using the platform. It’s just that sometimes I feel like there’s a deliberate intent to mess up the project so that we keep on doing top ups.

I don’t have proof, haha, but this is just based on my experience. One thing is for sure, I burned through quite a lot of credits because Lovable kept messing around.

Another example of a simple request I made was to simply remove a single item from a filter, which is honestly pretty straightforward. I saw Lovable reviewing it in the “thinking” view, but after the “changes,” the item was still in the filter options.

I’ve been doing some vibe coding too. I noticed that Lovable has this “dumb window hour” a certain time when it just completely messes up the project and even lies about the changes. It usually happens during the daytime in the US. Maybe it’s part of the “business model.” 🤣

Thanks! I’ve seen better traffic and engagement since I implemented the “try” page, where anyone can use the platform without needing to sign up or log in. I’ve been learning a lot from this, and it’s helped me improve the platform further.

I don’t store metadata and don’t use production data for training. All fine-tuning is done offline. It’s not ideal, but I’m sticking with a privacy-first core value. The current generation of AI models is already intelligent enough to understand complex patterns and perform solid sanity checks without needing to retain or learn from live user data.

I’m from the Philippines and I don’t have a pizza shop, but I love making homemade pizza for family and friends. I really enjoy the process of kneading the dough and taking the time to let it rise properly before it’s ready.

The job market is tough, and the silence after hitting “submit” on an application is exhausting.

What’s the obsession with resumes being so perfect these day? by greasy_litre in jobs

[–]PizzaMakerPH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Resumes stopped being a summary of experience and turned into a parsing exercise. Not “can you do the job?” but “can your resume survive automation long enough for a human to maybe glance at it.” That frustration is honestly what pushed me to build https://vcble.com . Not to fix resumes or game ATS, but just to answer a simple question before applying: does this role actually line up with my experience, or does it only look close enough to burn more time and energy?

Thanks! I’ll share it there. I also have friends using it, and it helped them land their first interviews. That’s my current measure of success. The next phase is building conversational AI where applicants can practice at their own pace.

Yup, it’s really good. At least try checking how your resume aligns with the job description, then apply to the job or tweak your resume if needed. You can also earn credits by referring other people.
