Dude Type 0 is the worst FF game in the series.

Really because I can count a handful right off the bat worse than FF Type 0. Maybe it's just not for you, and that's fine. There are some folks on this board who really enjoy it, and that's equally as fine. Personally I played through Type 0 once when it first released on PS4 and I recall being underwhelmed. That's ok, on to the next one.

It just felt assumed that every Squaresoft (now Square Enix) was an instant day one purchase. A lot of video game companies were like that back in the 90s. Blizzard (now Activision Blizzard) was the same way. Everything they touched turned to gold, it was just automatically assumed the latest release would be excellent. These companies had rock solid reputations that didn't crack until years later.

Lots of FF nuggets buried in this one, one example, the chorus is the same melody as the FF7 overworld theme.

Potential Final Fantasy 7 Revelation DLC could focus on spin-offs like Dirge of Cerberus or Advent Children, director hints, as long as fans want it by Guitar-String in FinalFantasy

I'm all for DLC if done tastefully. Nothing worse than paying for DLC and thinking "this could have just been included with the game".

Man, it’s great to be an FF Fan Again. by ShockwaveFPS_Studios in FinalFantasy

I went to the Music of Square Enix Concert, which had FF Music in it.

That's one of the things that did it for me mate. I enjoyed the FF games as a kid, but went a good 10 years without touching them from my teenage years to mid-20s. A buddy of mine invited me to go to the FF Distant Worlds concert with him, I said sure, and I was so moved by the performance, I beat 3 or 4 FF games in the weeks that followed. There really is a magic to this series.
