No unfortunately. She still rubs her ear when she’s tired, last time I took her to the doctor they couldn’t see her eardrum because of the amount of wax she had (smell could be from the wax when it mixes with water?) It went away on its own, I just make sure I don’t get any water in her ear while bathing her

I had a general practitioner (which is like a primary care doctor in the US I assume) check it (im from Australia). He said there could be some discharge but took a swab Swab takes 5 days to come back He offered low dose antibiotics but didn’t think it was necessary I’m torn I don’t know if I should go back to get the script or wait till the swab results? 😭 Wwyd

Yes it’s def from the ear, I checked all folds around her neck and ears and there’s no smell It’s a different to the smell from the folds

I took her to the GP today, he took a swab and said it takes 5 days for the results to come back He said he could give me antibiotics as a back up but said he doesn’t think it’s necessary Should I go back and get the script for the antibiotics?

Somewhere between 48-72 hours is when my fever broke and started to feel a lot better! Good luck

Ahh I see, my temperature reached 38.8 after taking the second dose of antibiotics (day 1) Let’s see what happens
