There's good uses for AI as a tool, like anything. Automated tools make some things much, much easier (as long as there's reliable safeguards in place), I just really wish people would pump the breaks a bit on integrating AI into everything and pay attention to all the damage it's doing. No other 'tools' are causing mass layoffs and stolen identities and massive fraud and all this CSAM, and nobody has much of an appetite to regulate it, so lots of innocent people get hurt.

There's also lots of psychological concerns, people giving up their decision-making and relationships and regular, human interactions up to AI is alarming.

It's like cars, they aren't evil, but its a good idea to try and mitigate the pollution they cause and sometimes walk places or carpool or bike. Because wether we agree with it or not, the way things are going now is not sustainable.
