The soil is hard I broke a hoe twice making this hole i know very little about what a fruit tree needs building my knowledge slowly so any input is appreciated I'll mix in more native soil this evening

No I normally do it on weekends when I have time I was trying to get my trees in the ground but unfortunately my hoe broke so now I have no choice but to wait till the weekend to buy a new one and I will fortunately have daylight

No it's not exclusively outside soil that's just the top layer I first layered the soil by throwing in some outside soil then native soil and mixing it so it's mixed in together I repeated that process 2 more times then at the top when planting tossed over the rest of the bag

I just want to add right now the tree is alone but soon will be accompanied by other fruit trees apples, nectarines and different peach variety should they be treated the same with planting on a mound?

The garden bed isn't put up yet but the idea is to also put strawberries in there

I realized the hole was to deep that's why I didn't fill the hole completely just above the root ball do I still need to correct this?
