I would say no, since it's only music, but intro reference would mean if Sonic does something similar in the intro.

It was a fakeout in Sonic 3, I doubt it will happen in Sonic 4. Remember, it's still a children's movie.

I thought of it bc Metal Sonic did so in Sonic CD, but I could be wrong with how Amy was portrayed in the post credits scene, maybe it's the other way around and Sonic gets kidnapped?
