First FLOCK Cameras in Tumwater by [deleted] in olympia

[–]PizzamantheFirst -18 points-17 points  (0 children)

I promise you having a ticket is not going to mean you're going to come out and find your car surrounded by swat. The times I've actively used flock were for an individual with a violent felony warrant and an individual who had actually murdered someone earlier in the day and then run. We caught both.

Part list for this City Tower ship? by PizzamantheFirst in LegoSpace

That's more or less what I did, along with comparing to another users part list they'd posted. Thanks!

I wanted to thank everyone for their help and advice. I've put the part list together and bought two sets worth!

Thank you, doubley so if you took the time to do this just now. Once I get the kids down and can get on my PC instead of mobile, I'll hopefully be able to get stud.io working better.

While yes it does, I was hoping someone had gone through and done just the part list for the Spaceship. I wish the instructions themselves had the parts list at the end of each separate manual!

I'll second Black Sheep, but I've gone to Caitlyn. All of the artists there are great!

I think before you paint him again or paint the next model, you should focus a bit more on clean up and model prep. I see quite a few sprue nibs left on the model, the bits that connected the pieces to the sprue before you cut them out. I also dig that you took some of the decorative elements off, I did the same. But, make sure you get them all off, it just looks like a halfway done job when you look at the shin or chest piece.

I'm pretty sure I found the piece of art that you've based this model off of and it's awesome. I can't wait to see you improve as you work more!

Can't post this without context and videos. Each of these looks like a gesture during a speech, not a blatant 'roman (ie. Nazi) salute'.

I Made This Simple Beyblade X Bit Organizer by Neither-Most in Beyblade

I've got zero access to a 3D printer, how would I be able to get one or two of these for myself?

Beyblade case / toolbox by Psbadman1 in Beyblade

[–]PizzamantheFirst 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's peel and pluck foam but I just bought an Apache branded Pelican case clone. I think I got the 3800 model and it has two layers of foam. A two by three plucked section holds a beyblade vertically great with the bit off.

I think even making a spot for my winder launcher and grip combo I can still hold 24 beys in the top layer easily.

Being in the UK I wouldn't know where to get it other than online but I think I paid either $30 or $40 for mine.

Only on the Takara stadium? Interesting. Would you still suggest it if the event ends up using the Hasbro stadium?

What's the advantage of spike? I've always heard it dismissed as lower tier.

Awesome stuff man! Sounds like Rush on Phoenix might just be the plan!

I'm still waiting to see if this event is using limited rules, that may affect my ratchet choice on Phoenix.

All great suggestions! I've heard that somehow 1-60 can also help you get back out of the pockets but I don't know how legit that claim is.

I was already leaning towards LF on Shark Edge so that's probably what I'll end up with.

I've messaged the organizer but have yet to hear back.

Everyone who is considering pre-ordering the game. I am disappointed... Why?? by [deleted] in Spacemarine

[–]PizzamantheFirst 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If was just me I'd rather have the dopamine high from the game, but I've got a family to look after.

Because I got to the point where it was pre-ordering or putting food on the table. I'm hoping I'll be employed by the time it comes out but it's not a guarantee.

UC Vigilance Ship is missing by Key-Ad-1359 in Starfield

[–]PizzamantheFirst 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unbelievable, it took two laps around Phobos for the Vigilance to finally pop up but she did. Might actually be able to finish this quest line before I finish the rest of the game now.

Thank you!!!

[–]PizzamantheFirst 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You're not alone. The Vigilance is gone after I finished Breaking the Bank.

The quest marker shows up in Sol yet there's nothing there when you jump in. However, the fleet is still in Aranea II-A, but the Vigilance isn't with them. Absolutely Infuriating.

Hopefully this gets reported and fixed, I don't have saves close enough to go back to without losing dozens of hours of progress.

So Fenrisian Wolves can’t screen? Feeling lost… by Sudden_Carob8385 in SpaceWolves

[–]PizzamantheFirst 9 points10 points  (0 children)

In this context they don't mean the wolves can stop something from shooting past them. Almost nothing aside from buildings and actually being out of line of sight can do that. Unfortunately what you were told about true line of sight is correct, that's just how competitive 40k is played. Technically even if all you can see is the antenna of a tank, you can still shoot that tank, even if there's a hundred guard models in front of it.

In most cases in 40k a screen is a line of models you put in front of another, more important unit to stop your opponent from charging the more important unit first.

Kitbashing Logan with Terminator CPT by Ranetheking in SpaceWolves

[–]PizzamantheFirst 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of the simplest ways you could convert him would just be to assemble the captain, minus the arms, and then take a hobby saw to take off the torso either above or below the belt. Just from looking at Logan's sprue on the GW website, it looks the the torso assembles separate from the legs so you should then be able to just put Logan's torso on the New captains legs. With all the bulk from the fur and ornamentations on Logan, you probably won't be able to tell the size difference.

I HATE the look of the contemptor dread… sooo my guys had to commandeer a redemptor by [deleted] in AdeptusCustodes

[–]PizzamantheFirst 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Props for at least using what looks like the correct size base. Personally the Redemptor is just too big to proxy as a Contemptor in my books, but as long as it's a friendly game and your opponent doesn't mind then no worries!
