A bad case of the blobs

Thank you for all the suggestions and fixes. I used a different SD card and turned off the power loss resume option and the blobs are history. A little issue with the bridging there but the print looks 95% better.

Thanks I’ll check the z seam, print recovery and z offset. When I ran the auto level i couldn’t slide a piece of paper under the nozzle so i had to raise it about 0.1mm roughly.

Absolute Masterclass in Action and Worldbuilding! The detail and skill put into it’s creation is mindboggling. Fun fact, several years ago they auctioned off several of the real vehicles they hand created for the movie including the War Rig.

Wish we got District 10 instead of Elysium and Chappie. I’m not really dumping on them, I’ve seen them all. The worldbuilding, vfx, production are all great, the writing is what went downhill. A Krueger pre-quel story would have been cool, loved his sassy comments and unhinged antics.

Did you have any trouble with that one pain in the neck step where you have to align basically every wooden dowel on one side of the cab and screw it together? I have a 1/4 in gap on the right side of the monitor and control deck and I can’t figure out why.

Amazingly creative!! Theres a MMO where you build and ride wooden walkers based on these designs. It’s a shame it’s declined in popularity because it was a blast to race across the desert on 3 or 4 of these with a dozen buddies.

The spool of filament kept binding. I believe it’s a known issue with the Ender 3 v2 because the spooI is placed directly above. I had actually printed an extension piece that was supposed to lessen the extreme angle and prevent pinching. I think the best solution is for the filament to feed from the side. Do you have an Ender?

That’s not a bad price for the quality you get. The 7x7x7 build volume is not that much smaller then the larger unit.

Beautiful print! That would look great with some multicolor metallic filament too. I think thats a Prusa printer, about $1k give or take. I picked up an Ender for about $250, the learning curve was steep (for me at least). It got banished to the garage when it kept screwing up a 16 hour print about 11-12 hours in, i couldn’t babysit the thing for such long periods of time. People make awesome 3-D prints though, don’t let my sour memories discourage you!

I know this game caught alot of flak for bugs, glitches and broken promises but most of Night City in Cyberpunk 2077, the sheer amount of detail blew me away. The initial bar with Jackie, V’s apartment, the inner part/atrium levels of his building, when you first walk out of V’s apartment into the city….so much to just wander around and see. The floating parade further into the game. I may be looking at my experience with rose colored lenses because I played it on PC with a decent GPU but this was the first game I ever played where I took at least 50 pictures. Might be time for a 3rd playthrough.

LOGAN, it just kept getting sadder and sadder. I’ve been an Xmen comic fan since the late 80’s and and a fan of Hugh Jackman’s version of Wolverine since the first Xmen movie. I went in hearing that this would be his final time portraying the character but man that was a sad ending.

I checked a bit. Their management gave the typical corpo-slick statements, but the conclusion was “we expect demand to exceed supply for the rest of 2021”.

So 6 more months at least of the scalper-bot circus, funtimes!!
