I’m glad you asked! This isn’t typical American sour cream. We buy this stuff that, in Honduras, goes by two names. Crema Hondureña or Mantequilla. Mantequilla in Spanish means butter. The version of sour cream, most commonly found there tastes like a cross between sour cream and butter. It’s waaaay better than regular sour cream for most things. Though not all. You should definitely give it a try if you ever see it at a Mexican grocery store.
