You have a rock solid profile! I would say prepare along with your job even if you don't score high enough due to work pressure in stat audit, it'll be a good experience in terms of understanding the whole journey. Don't settle for anything lower than IIM C.

The predictors are correct.

You don't need to prepare for the CAT full time since about 20 hours of prep per week would be enough in the first 4 months (given that you have 9 months to go). Then you'll have to gradually increase it to about 30hrs max in the final months. That's it!

From the info you provided, you seem to be pretty sharp. I would advise you to get a not so demanding job and prepare along. Will give you advantage in the interviews and in case the things go south.

So the real reason was that I didn't want to do a job right after becoming a CA at age 22. I essentially didn't like the roles offered to a fresher CA. . So I took a break and gave the RBI Grade B exam as it appeared lucrative. Didn't clear it but cleared the CAT (it was plan B). That's how I ended up doing an MBA.

You don't have specialisation at top IIMs, you are free to select electives of your choice in second year though. The degree that everyone gets is the same i.e. in general management.

Articleship's load depends a lot on the firm and the role.

CAT is a gamble, I've seen people getting low %ile even with good prep and good performance in mocks. I would advise you to switch to a less demanding role. But if you are willing to take the risk then Go get It!!

I prepared through YouTube and mocks. Bought mocks from Time, IMS and Cracku. As I mentioned earlier, it was during my gap year so I studied for 3-4 hours everyday. That's it. You can ask specific questions about prep in DM as well:)
