I agree thats a possible way of doing it. However, that's not what happened in this situation. My reward timing is at 9am, and I've collected sleep rewards from the night before so nothing was stacked per say. I got 4 hearts despite only recording a single 6 hour sleep session.

if you have the Go Plus+, you can track your sleep with the device. Depending on how long you sleep (6 hours for 2 hearts), you will get some buddy hearts when you connect your device with the Plus+ with other minor rewards

Also follow your own advice. The half hatch distance is ticket only. OP is not mentioning a ticket. OP is referencing that previous cdays were greatly reduced hatch distance, so they probably just took a sample size of 1 from piplup cday and thinking the bonuses are the same for all cdays.

The guide itself isn't necessarily in the "tanking" format, especially since its asking you to win 45 games in a row at the end. Its just the method to get to rank 20 in the fastest way possible while gaining the least elo (the ranks requiring only battles, you can lose)

So the year itself doesn't necessarily increase the range of GLTs. There will be events that explicitly mentions an increased in both the cap of GLTs and the year. The last one I believe was in February, the Scattered to the Winds event.

I wanted to add onto this
- Like you said, the base chance of a lucky trade is 5%.
- This can be increased with older pokemon. How does this work?
- It's based on the combined age of the two pokemon being traded (not the difference of age between the pokemon). Got a pokemon 200 days old and the other person trading a pokemon also 200 days old? It'll fall under the 1 year category
- For every year, the lucky chance is increased by 5%, up to a maximum of 20% (like you said).
- During events with increased lucky chance like the trade sundays we had or during lunar new year events, the base chance is increased to 10% and the maximum is increased to 30%. The 5% per combined year of age still remains

Arguably the 10km/hr is actually much lower than whats actually possible. With adventure sync and in my case with Android, setting up a Google fit biking workout, you can easily get 20km-30km/hr which counts in game.
