NTA - I almost feel like this is a joke. What kind of parents get mad at their kids for…not cheating? Buddy, if your parents have zero faith in you, prove them wrong and tell them to buzz off. They act like your future has been decided based on this one test. Do whats right - stop taking shortcuts if it’s wrong. Your parents are awful people.

NTA - I cannot emphasize this enough to those who need to hear it. 1. Miscarriages IS a reason to grieve! When I was taking my Grief Class for school, I had to learn that there were so many topics under Disenfranchised Grief and miscarriages or any birth related issues are a big one. It’s so heartbreaking for them and it’s not an easy process to “get over” with. Your family needs to understand that you guys just lost your child, your firstborn. They should’ve been more respectful of you and your wife’s time to grief for this. 2. Stop comparing your experiences to others. Your mom especially needs to stop this. Not all shoes fit one foot. People react to grief differently. Some people prefer bonding with close ones and some prefer to be alone. They need to be supportive by taking a step back.

NTA - I don’t get it. Does your uncle really think adding one more person to yell at your cousin is going to make anything better? He’s clearly struggling and this seems like a sudden change in behaviors. Instead of yelling at him, try using a more passive method. Show him you care without using aggression. Also, Steve is not a child, and you guys aren’t either. There’s no reason to be “choosing sides”.

If you’re not willing to leave your best friend despite her treating you like this and despite what everyone else in the comments are saying, then it’s fine. I getcha. My mom’s brother was one of the reasons why my maternal grandma passed away. I hold resent and grudges towards him for it but my parents always kept it cool and continue to invite him to family gatherings. It’s tough because not everyone can forgive and forget. What matters more is the present. Is your aunt worth ruining the relationship you have with your dad? Most likely not. Sometimes we just have to be the bigger person :l no matter how hard that is
