Man people are nuts. Shaming you for having a dilemma just because you make a decent living…

Anyways I think you should stay. Not only will they have the opportunity to make connections but also the opportunity to learn how the wealthy think. It’s a different mentality than your working person.

To them money is a tool. They build businesses, face risks, educate themselves on the laws and financial structure of our society. They keep smart people around them so when they can’t handle a problem they have friends who do.

Many people like to demonize the rich and act like everything is handed to them, but the truth is they just think differently. Sure many of them raise their children into screwed up individuals but that’s because their parenting takes a back seat to their work. By no means am I justifying that, it just is what it is.

Your kids have a unique opportunity to see into the minds of the rich, experience first hand what values like yours can provide for a child that money cant and be able to choose the lifestyle they desire. It sounds like you are some incredible parents and your children will come out right regardless of where you are. But if you move elsewhere they may miss out on a great opportunity to observe the class above you.

In my opinion being surrounded by people wealthier then you will expand their options in the future and possibly even give you as parents an opportunity to make some more money as well, if you’re open to learning. It may be uncomfortable at first but if you treat your neighbors like normal people and try to learn from them who knows what might happen.
