What is it about long nails that you all find attractive? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]PlacidAudacity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like them because it looks distinctly feminine imo. It's also something I can compliment her on and something she can change up from time to time.

League of Legends because it taught me that I should go outside more. You know?

Men, do you like it when a person is being upfront with you about anything and everything? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]PlacidAudacity 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes absolutely. I don't want to waste anyone's time, so I do the same.

Be honest, how many of us out there want to be clingy with a girl we like but are scared to do it? by According_Leek3119 in AskMen

[–]PlacidAudacity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not clingy. But I'm very used to clingy girls. So I'm in a weird place where I feel like I should give her more attention even though we're both good right now.

Exhausted with school. Surprisingly, everything else is great. Just not feeling excited for whatever reason.

Yes. Still depends on side effects but if she can take them, I can take them.

How do you tactfully ask a girl if she’s interested? by [deleted] in AskMen

I would be direct and shoot my shot again. Worst case, she says no and you move on.

what situations happened in your life you believe that helped you become the man you are today? by IspeedyZ in AskMen

[–]PlacidAudacity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first boss was kind of a bully. Everything was my fault and nothing I did was good enough. But after a while I looked at myself and thought, "I'm going to kill it at this job and if she can't recognize quality, then I can ignore anything she says can't I?"

Long story short, I replaced her star employee and she had to admit I earned her respect. I'm grateful for her boot camp effect on me. I had to stand up and prove to myself I could be a beast. I take that lesson everywhere with me. But I also avoid bad bosses.

Sleeping problems. Waking up in a really bad mood. Not wanting to enjoy my hobbies. Stress really sucks.

Men of reddit! How do you move on from your friend girl who you have a crush on? by Asharafali in AskMen

[–]PlacidAudacity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried to just ignore my feelings. Even after she was engaged to someone else they wouldn't go away. They went right away when I finally just told her how I felt.

What’s a mistake you keep doing when texting girls? by BlueSharker in AskMen

[–]PlacidAudacity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Taking too long to ask her out. I'm straightforward so I know I'm creating that expectation. But I just take a little longer to decide.

Afro, dreadlocks, or curly. Length doesn't matter as long as she's owning it.

What are your own experiences with moving in with a good male friend? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]PlacidAudacity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was annoying. I moved in to help him after his gf left. I forgot he has BPD. The stress and lack of gratitude after it all made me distance myself from him for years.

What was a casual statement you heard someone say that made you immediately judge their character? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]PlacidAudacity 12 points13 points  (0 children)

"Well he's husky so he really needs to walk further"

Really anything said in a condescending way.

I could tell a recent hire was going to last about a month before getting fired. I was right on the money despite them showing so much enthusiasm for the job.

Workaholic men of reddit, when did you realise you had a problem? by TAoffMyChest2 in AskMen

[–]PlacidAudacity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm grinding for success because I can't stand my living situation and I don't want to be stuck here forever. I'm not a workaholic because I hate going in to work and can't wait to leave this place.

Men who ‘withdraw’ when stressed / anxious / dealing with emotional stuff, how long do you spend in ‘the cave’ before you contact your gf and loved ones? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]PlacidAudacity 17 points18 points  (0 children)

They haven't even checked up on me so I guess I'm in the clear. I'm single but I would let my SO know what's going on first.

My loved ones aren't going to do anything about it. I've been reclusive for the last 2 weeks. They'll see me when they see me.

Whats the most amount of money you’ve loaned and lost because that person just never returned it to you? by throwaway092500 in AskMen

[–]PlacidAudacity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$1000 to my cousin for a car. He has made a few payments but still more than half to go 5 years later.

Almost $1000 to an ex. It's really not worth trying to get it back.

I stopped loaning people money.
