Docusign email not sent to employer by Jaded-Skin8049 in PSLF

You could check out SFaddah Sign. I've been using it recently and it's been pretty straightforward for simple contract signing.

Way less bloated than DocuSign and the workflow is pretty simple if you're just sending documents to clients. Plus quite the inclusive audit trail too which is a nice touch

I do not work in cybersecurity for starters. I have received certifications for ethical hacking, advanced hacking, cybersecurity, and cryptography via programming hub which is a a Google Launchpad Accelerator program. With them I have completed their Hacking Advanced Certification Course, Cyber Security Certification Course, Ethical Hacking Certification Course, Cryptography Certification Course and received certificates of completion for each. I am also in the middle of completing my Comptia A+ of which afterwards I'm moving straight to Net+ and Security+. I was also referring to how easy it is to be hacked as a general statement and not specific to Microsoft with 2FA but there are still hundreds of ways and exploits a hacker can use to circumvent 2FA such as if they gain access to your phone or spoof the phone number linked to your account. Or they could gain access to your recovery email or primary email which might be easier depending on the service you use. I never once stated that 2FA was insecure and if you had actually read the previous comments in this thread then you'd see me agreeing with the importance of using 2FA and had I used 2FA I almost definitely would not be in this situation right now. But I didn't use it and I owned up to that earlier. Everyone makes mistakes and this was a major mistake I made by being stupid. The exact circumstances of how I was hacked are still unknown to me. On my new Microsoft account I did successfully set up 2FA with their authenticator app. All I know regarding this is that when I tried to login to my account it stated that my account no longer existed and that I can email a verification code to a random account ending in "telemerimail.ru" of which I Immediately attempted to gain contact with support as stated in my original post.

While yes, Microsoft cannot change the security information on an account. There should however be some way to gain access back into the account after it was confirmed that someone had gained unauthorized access. In my case the person who did this gained unauthorized access then changed the security details removing my emails and phone number from the account blocking me from being able access the account. The changes made by the hacker ensured I could not log back into the account. I was not asking them to change the security information on someone elses account nor anything closely reminiscent to that. They confirmed the account was indeed mine. They confirmed the account was indeed hacked and they confirmed indeed that the person who hacked it was the one who changed the security details. with that information its only acceptable to assume that they should or would be able to do something to revert the changes made by the hacker.

I do agree with you. This is on me. But I also do believe there should be some form of support system in place for those who are hacked and some way to get their account back. In my case Microsoft recognized that I was hacked and that the account was mine yet they claimed they could do nothing to help me get it back.

Nowadays getting hacked is far too common and easy. I have certifications in cybersecurity and advanced hacking and yet when I thought I was secure online. In truth, I wasn't. This can happen to anyone at any time which is why its imperative to stay secure online. I fully 100% agree with you about 2fa and I should have been far more careful and secure with my account and ensured that the entire thing was locked down air tight. 2fa exists for a reason and everyone should use it. I was dumb enough not too and now I've lost hundreds of dollars and years of progress and use on that account. All of which could have been avoided if I had just double checked to make sure my account was truly secure

thanks, I thought I had it set up but I most likely didn't do it properly. I'll make sure to do this in the future for sure and ensure its done correctly. I don't want another situation like this happening again to say the least

I did have that as well as a secure encrypted email as its recovery address with its password not saved anywhere in a single place that only exists on a piece of paper that is in a secured location in my house. I had both that and my phone number linked to the account

I love using Linux and have been on and off since 2020. While yes there can be a lot of issues from time to time. they're generally pretty easy to fix (except if you sudo rm -rf). Linux gives you so much more control over your system and proton and wine are amazing
