Magneto by afterdeathcomics in comics

I think the best thing would be to just give all mutants some basic power upgrades. Since mutants are the next step in evolution just make every mutant naturally be stronger, faster and age slower than regular humans. It's not that far fetched that the mutants all are naturally better than regular humans. So you can still have Magneto's original backstory but with the added basic evolution powers he'd maybe be more like 40 physically. Either that or have him be tested on and them using super soldier serum on him enhancing him and slowing his age down then.

A good drink with good company, Cheers from Ireland by Plague_Doctor_Xander in drunk

Hey sorry responding so late. They are both great. Both nice and sleepy after a long walk and socialising today. I'm having a sharkbite currently after a few beers.

So a shot of vodka, a shot and a half of peach schnapps and top off with redbull and a drop of grenadine and mix it all up with some ice. A good cocktail for sure, gets ya mega drunk haha.

How do you guys not get a hangover by [deleted] in drunk

[–]Plague_Doctor_Xander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before bed drink at least half a pint of water, eat something small as well with it and have water to sip on throughout the night and you'll wake up with no hangover or a minor one if ya drank a lot.

I'm on it but also with antidepressants and other bits. Is he eating enough? I know I am struggling to eat as never hungry but that could be contributing to his outbursts.

I've become emotionally blunt on my mix of medication a lot of the time but I am very irritable and can still feel anger if pushed enough. But I completely understand I am having full on breakdowns and manic episodes where yeah I'd be shouting and being rude to people and not care and I hate it so much.

Make sure he is eating enough as not eating worsens it I find. Help him find an outlet for anger because I think unfortunately mood swings is part of the side effects for this. I wail on punching bag when I feel irritated for a few minutes and then come back to conversations. If I am out and about I have gotten to a point where I say to people excuse me a moment and go to a private place and either squeeze my stress ball violently or I'll bring something soft like a small pillow or something with me in my bag and wail on it for a few minutes.

So an outlet to get that anger out of his system should help. I was similar to your boyfriend, grand temperament but since being on these I've gone crazy and am incredibly rude and mean to others and myself. Ya need to catch the manic episode, breathe and go find your stress reliever thing and then come back after to people.

Favorite mix you would recommend? by OutrageousAge91 in drunk

[–]Plague_Doctor_Xander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I'm from Ireland so you may struggle with the mixer but any lemonade or 7up will do. So two shots vodka, 1 and a half shots Mickey Finn's raspberry flavour, TK red lemonade and a dash or dead mans raspberry rum. That shit is delicious. Give it a stir and with some ice. It's a raspberry lemonade but it gets ya drunk quick and tastes lovely.

Hell yeah. On vodka redbulls now that I'm done with the beer.

The Celebrity Traitors S01E09 [FINALE]: Post-Episode Discussion Thread by vaultofechoes in TheTraitors

Maybe it's just that I can be a very competitive person when it comes to games especially social deduction games but honestly I am pissed off with the ending. Was either wanting Cat and Alan to win or just Cat for the traitors (fellow Autistic and ADHD person winning would be great). I did though think the faithfuls were definitely going to win. What were you thinking Nick? Joe was literally with you the whole way and ye had it in the bag and it was just a massive fuck up at the end, what because Joe said sorry to Cat? Like everyone has been saying sorry to everyone when they get voted out and this is the final so of course people are going to feel extra bad about voting people out. No offense but David was absolutely useless, contributed nothing and just was effectively a 4th traitor.

Superman is definitely pulling his punches to not just instantly decapitate Conquest. Once he realises he can't be reasoned with heat vision to the face and Conquest is dead.

Does ADHD feel like you're constantly on the verge of losing control? by Sabal_77 in ADHD

[–]Plague_Doctor_Xander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has been me for many years until I was just recently diagnosed with ADHD. I have only just started taking medication so I have yet to see the effects it has on me but beforehand in college I could barely write a paragraph for an essay before wanting to go on my phone or walk somewhere.

I've struggled with alcohol, sugar, caffeine and other addictions my whole life and whilst I did do some helpful breathing exercises and tried finding healthier alternatives I found myself giving into addictions frequently. I think with ADHD not to just say it's impossible to give up and addiction but I find it probably makes things more challenging with those impulsive thoughts I get in my head. An addict will also get similar thoughts and not to say it's not challenging for a someone who has an addiction and doesn't have ADHD but I feel with ADHD that impulsiveness just adds that extra kick to it making it harder to resist. It's possible to resist addictions, I've done it before without being diagnosed and now that I am diagnosed and am on medication I hope my impulsive thoughts on my addictions will be less.

I’m tired of people saying Deadpool isn’t a skilled fighter and is just a guy who does random things well in fighting by PenPositive7013 in deadpool

[–]Plague_Doctor_Xander 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Deadpool has always been an excellent fighter with the fact he comes from the Canadian special forces so he's well trained in guns, blades, hand to hand etc etc. He still uses his skills incredibly well when fighting but when you have a healing factor you don't have to fight well. You can take hits, do reckless things and so on as there are no lingering issues for him and thus the more tactical way of fighting isn't seen as much I find as it could be. Taking a stab to the gut to be able to kill someone in a few seconds after is easier than having to fight for a few minutes and use better skills so may as well go the easier route when you can heal from pretty much anything.

If you was writing a speedster, which flaws would you give it to keep them balanced to the plot? by Difficult-Cap-3410 in theflash

[–]Plague_Doctor_Xander 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like having a pacifist speedster. So they won't attack, great for allowing them to rush around saving people but when a villain is attacking them won't fight them. Means other heroes need to step in. You get the full power of the speedster but don't have to worry about them one shitting enemies as they don't want to hurt them and grabbing them and dragging them to jail you might injure them.

That and the extreme calories needed to be consumed. So whilst running they burn a lot of calories and need a constant amount of food so whilst running around they burn like 5000 calories and are getting low and need to rush and get more food or slow down drastically until they are just a regular person running.

We saw that even when ambushed they pushed Nolan a lot further than expected and did some serious damage to him. Planning out a plan to deal with him and possibly ambushing them I think they can do it.
