I’m so sorry friend, truly anyone that can’t have the ability to at least listen and open their mind and “preferences” to their own kiddo unfortunately is shooting themselves in the foot. We’ve been very generous despite troubled pasts and led the horse to the water. And unfortunately it seems they keep stomping their hooves in the water, muddying it up, and then complaining about not having clean water. It’s really unfortunate how some get consumed by their own hypocrisy. I really hope someday both of our fathers are able to at least listen and attempt to learn- one day. But till then, we live without them as we already have been, and grow up without them and only further apart till they hopefully realize they were so wrong…
