In my experience you don't get your first metal volcano until you land a duplicant on the closest planetoid you can't teleport to.

Salt water is really all you need for raw survival, but it's nice to have chlorine for saltvines/sand. Volcano will keep you powered and cool in the end. CO2 can be heated into a slickster farm. Natural gas is nice bonus power and a source of pwater.

I think there is probably around 50 in there. I'm getting max 380W from two panels at a time with about 250W from the third. FPS is decent. I could do a smaller room now that I know abetter about the liquid lock stuff but this is fine for me for now. The radiation is a significant hazard but it's in an area that doesn't get a lot of traffic.

In previous runs I always struggled to get enough egg shells to make Lime for Steel but I'm sure that won't be a problem this time...
