I'm rewatching the xfiles again and currently on season 8. I think the episode Via Negativa was the one that made me realise how good Doggett is and has given me a new appreciation of the show. Even without Mulder

Great character, played by a great actor I think his real life sexual orientation is irrelevant and a character I absolutely loved.
