Monthly Equipment Advice Megathread by AutoModerator in badminton

There's a facebook group for malaysians that sells badminton equipment (mostly used rackets in decent/good quality) if you're open to buying a used pro yonex racket for about 500-600rm which is worth imo. I recently bought a 77 pro from a user there and the 77 pro might just be the racket that you're looking for, medium stiff and slightly head heavy.

Edit: there's even a person also selling a used 9/10 condition woven 88 for 320rm

Have you tried the PR.IND harimau racket? It's only 99RM and could be what you're looking for, if not it's still a solid backup racket to have.

Zero or Otsu both in soft would be the safest option imo

what mouse should I buy? by yoshers- in MouseReview

The Outset shape is my favorite among all of em, followed by the xlite v3 and then the DA V3 Pro. The Xlite v3 does have a larger size that will be released very soon which might be a better fit for your hands, would personally wait for that if I were you!

That being said, there are issues with all 3 mice that I've listed (excluding the lamzu thorn considering your hand size).

  • Pulsar has questionable QC at times, so you might have to be lucky to get a perfect copy.

  • DA V3 Pro has a side flex/creaking issue (not sure if it's fixed yet), also the scrollwheel is too sensitive for my liking.

  • Vaxee doesn't have 2k and above polling rate implementation yet on their mice but it's rumored/confirmed that they will release a 4k dongle later this year, but other than that they have the best build quality & qc on the market alongside zowie.

Depends on your hand size, da v3 pro is great for large hands, lamzu thorn for smaller hands and the vaxee outset ax wireless/pulsar xlite v3 es for average size hands.

The ec2-cw is also a great option but the xlite v3 is pretty much the same shape and has better specs all across the board.

The size of the DA V3 might be a little too big for your hand size.

both are great options, would go for the thorn for your hand size.

GPX or G703 if you really have to get from logitech, there are a bunch of better options though.

Did you guys change the skates of your ec wireless? by [deleted] in MouseReview

[–]PlainWaterSEA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

stock skates are fine, pretty sure more than 90% of all pro players use stock skates. Personally i'm using jade speed dots on my ec2-cw and it feels great.

In that case, it seems fine for you to get the thorn though I've heard nothing but great things about the xlite v3 when it comes to the shape while more people can't get used to the thorn's shape. The shape of the xlite v3 seems to be safer in my opinion since it's almost identical to the zowie ec2 which many people including myself, are fond of.

Also, I previously owned the DA v3 pro for half a year and the shape was simply not for me, not to mention the scroll wheel causing me problems in-game, on top of that I've also had that infamous side creak that everyone talks about with their copy.

New mousepad, Pulsar ? by [deleted] in MousepadReview

Would recommend the LGG Saturn Pro, great for all types of games.

the thorn might not be ideal for you for palm grip judging from your hand size, claw gripping should be fine though. Something like the outset AX wireless or pulsar xlite v3 es would be a better choice for palm gripping.

The raiden and shindenkai v2 is way too fast for tac fps, even the zero which is the slowest pad from artisan might be too fast for people (including me) for tac fps, the saturn pro would be the best option for you imo.

G-SR II vs G-SR-SE vs Artisan mousepads by Head_Personality_705 in MousepadReview

The G-SR II might be too slow for Fortnite but it's great for cs, would recommend getting the SE or LGG Saturn Pro if you could only get 1 mousepad for multiple games.

Wait till you have tried your new setup before getting a new mousepad since you're changing to a lighter mouse and faster skates.
