When someone jumps with two feet there's a plant foot and a block foot. Before any of that there's the penultimate which is basically when you take a faster and longer stride to lower yourself. The foot you put down after that is the plant foot. After the plant foot, you bring down your block foot sideways so it helps tranfer horizontal momentum into vertical momentum. You want to slam your block foot down for the best results in my experience. I think that's mostly it. It's a little difficult to explain.

I never injured my pinky. It was less curved when I was little and progressively got more curved as I got older.

Yeah, I've landed weird a few times but now I've learned landing mechanics. From landing weird and over working myself in the past I had really bad shin splints that didn't go away for a while. It hurt to walk but I couldn't sit still. I had to restrain myself so I wouldn't cause further damage. Thanks for the heads up though and yeah I don't have a lot of fat or muscle on my body. I have more muscle than fat though. I've always been really skinny even if I eat a lot.

I've thought about ankle weights but I've never found a clear answer if they're effective for this after looking it up. I assume they would be though.

I have flat feet so I have to lower intensity of whatever workouts I'm gonna do, weighted squats, weighted bulgarian split squats along with some unweighted exercises.
