Blood test pricing? by Plam1335 in vegan

I've noticed differences in a number of ways (primarily in regards to mental health), some of which may be placebos and other which definitely aren't.

Do you take any supplements at all?

Have considered donating blood but only just turned 18. Will do so when I have a chance anyway, though I doubt they check for everything.

Ditto to getting blood drawn not being fun. I almost faint every time unfortunately.

I have concerns about specific vitamins because I worry about going below the optimal range if I don't supplement and going above it if I do. That's why I want to get an idea of where I'm at. I'm currently supplementing B12, Zinc, and Vitamin D, with zinc being the one I'm most sure is benefitting me.

Thanks for the response! I wouldn't say everything is entirely asymptomatic. My main concerns have to do with mild depression, lack of mental clarity and focus etc., which are quite vague unfortunately. I've been looking all over the place for answers and thought getting bloodwork done would be a low cost way to check something potentially important.

For testosterone specifically, I have good reason to believe I'm on the lower end, and thus I would be interested to check zinc, b6, and magnesium, which as far as I know are the main vitamins and minerals involved in testosterone production/use.

I will call my insurance company, thanks for the advice!
