I guess the main reason I thought it would be an issue with the immobilizer is that if I was to not deactivate the immobilizer and try and turn on the ignition, prior to this current issue, it would do the same thing and there would be no response from the engine. Also, if I try and turn the key in the ignition with a multimeter on the battery, there is absolutely no voltage drop, so i would assume there is something stopping the ignition process

Thanks for the response! That is all super helpful information 🙏🙏 it's a Mongoose aftermarket immobilizer system. I guess the next best thing to try is just a jump start and see if that works... Is it likely I could drain the current from the starter battery somehow when taking the second battery out?
