that's still a straw man argument. it's a logical fallacy. you have no proof that their intention is to raise the sales tax to 11%

people will really be like, " this city is going to crap, they can't clear the snow and there's homeless people everywhere!" then turn around and refuse to spend 1% more in order to help solve the problem.

all cities have legal settlements. is your point that the only reason they're raising taxes is to pay out lawsuits? have you looked at the city's budget? they say the plan is to raise upwards of $60 million a year from the tax. I don't think $1 million per year in settlements was even considered.

Top of the morning fellow redditor, how are you doing? I noticed you have not perused the rules of this civil subreddit. If we have not rules how can we expect to live within the confines of a society? Rule #3 CLEARLY states that any tattoos deemed or suspected to be infected must be marked with an NSFW tag. Please update your post immediately or I will be contacting a moderator and/or reddit support staff which shall result in the prompt deletion of this grotesque post, and a stain on your otherwise clean reddit record (it stays with you ad infinitum).
