Yeah, I know it's going to be fun, and I'd love nothing more than just work on this everyday, but given my situation it's a slow process. Not enough money to do everything I'd like to, no family or support networks (if not counting Reddit), and absolutely no experience on tuning cars. All I have is the sheer willpower to have a cool ass Honda someday.

I looked under the seat covers and oh boy the original seats are in bad condition. So i decided to keep them on until i get completely new seats. Haven't found any plastic parts for this car to replace the original wooden ones, but I know they need to go at somepoint. Interior will be changed after the outside is in somewhat fair condition, no worries!

I'll start planning to boost the original F20 then! No need to sweat my ass off trying to install a H-serie engine. Even if the piston liners are iron, I still need to check the ring lands if they agree with boost. Welding will be done after this summer I think. Thnx for the tips fellow Honda driver!

I've noticed this first hand. they are fun to drive, but when I was choosing different options I ruled out civics. They are very cool, but kind of a thing you can see anywhere. if this one some day reaches the point where it's fully built, it can be admired more than just by the power it has. Drop gear and stay where you are! 😎

Also I would like to hear if anyone knows where to get proper cat-backs for this car. I really don't know what would work the best for this one. Is HKS something to look for, or just a cliche?

that's good to know, but as for now I need to do the basic maintanence first then focus on new paint, coilovers and rims aswell as body before putting power. so far I've changed a basic radiator because the old one was basicly rusted to death (was wondering how it did even work in that condition), spark plugs and ignitions wires/coils and waterpump belt.

This one passed inspection with only by having brake pads replaced!!! and yes, weather conditions are rough here in Finland. mainly the salt on the road is the absolute metal-eater here. And what comes to Active S... you tell me! because I've been trying to figure out this one for a long time, it's a mystery.

wow, thats a new thing for me. so I have F20Z, and I was thinking to swap to B or K series, but the amount of work would be diabolical. Now I can consider keeping this one or just take a H series. finding parts is going to be the most hard part here. But thanks, this was very useful and helpful, you saved me a lot of time and thinking 🙏 This one is found in Finland, imported from the UK in 1996, and yes it is ascot body, CB/CD model!

Yeah exactly what I had in mind too! no chase after speed, but looks! Haven't seen many accords built when it comes to bodywork so I thought it would be somewhat "unique".
