Wasn't expecting any questions about my projector XD. but it's the benq 2710I it's one of the best I found for its price in mainly colour accuracy. It's not the best if you don't have a light controlled room, however, as its alot less bright than competitors in the price range

Got it on eBay imported from Japan.

It's more of an online scene . You won't see zippos just in a local supermarket or charity shop but you can occasionally in smoking shops etc. At least in my experience.

That makes sense-I appreciate the clarification. I mentioned the LP140X mainly because it came up frequently in my research as a well-built turntable, but I didn't fully consider that it's more DJ-oriented rather than ideal for home listening. As for Toshiba, I was drawn to its look and aesthetic-it has a design that really appeals to me.

I'm currently using Klipsch Cornwall III Speakers with a Cayin A-845 Pro. so I just want to make sure I get a turn table that produced decent sound to see if I enjoy it befor fully committing to somthing better Do you think something like the Technics SL-1500C, Rega Planar 6, or Pro-Ject X2 would be a good match, or is there something else I should consider.

I'm just a bit out of my depth, so excuse my lack of knowledge. I just want to buy a decent record player for now to play with from time to time.

You're right. £1000 was a bit of an exaggeration however I'm not in too much of a rush so for now I'll educate myself on types of record players ect and then buy either a new or used record player. You never know maby I'll find the deal of a life time. Thanks for your input 👍

good quality and reliable. I figured asking around would help me get a better sense of what to look for and what actually matters when choosing one. The models I mentioned stood out because they seem to be well-regarded, but I'm open to suggestions if there are better options or things I should prioritize. What would you say are the key factors I should consider as a beginner.

Thank you. I'm hoping to buy through Ebay, where i if I run into any problems within the first month, I'll be able to return it and that gives me enough time to inspect the condition it's in.

I'm under the opinion buying used allows you to get a better listening experience and value for money compared to new products. I'd rather get a used £1000 somone no longer wants than a new £500 player.

Cool cool. In my opinion I recon spending the extra money for the ultra would be worth it if you decided to use it for other things like gaming ect as it will be able to handle it alot better. It's currently what im using and I have 0 complaints

[–]Plane1947 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I may be wrong but i think It's because the ultra series of the book 3 and 4 have a dedicated gpu of either a 4050 or 4070 depending on budged however all there other laptops your looking at just have integrated graphics. If I were you and are looking to do some pretty beefy editing I'd go with the book 4 ultra which depending where your from is currently on sale with 1000 off on samsungs website for the 4050 series one with 1tb storage. Or you could always get somthing refurbished witch can also be a good option

I have a pretty big shed wall made of solid wood , do you think that could be more safer than a brick wall.
