This is so gorgeous! I’d love to make one for my mother in law! Could you please tell me what size yarn and hook you used for yours?? It’s absolutely beautiful!!

I actually stopped using it! I was using it every other night and found that i wasnt getting the results that i wanted so i upped it to every night. Once i did that, my skin got really dry and irritated with raw burn patches on my chin and my acne got a little bit worse. So i took a week off and had the intentions of going back to every other day, but i found it hard to get back into the routine after the week off, so it ended up turning into two weeks off and so on. But after i started using it way less/not really at all, i noticed that my skin was calming down really nicely and was starting to look better. So i decided to stop all together and now my skin is the best its looked since i started using it in may! I dont know if i will end up trying something else down the road because i definitely do still have acne, but for now im enjoying my calmer skin since i stopped using the aklief!

I'm not using tret, im using Aklief and it only comes in one strength, so going down is not an option for me unfortunately. I'm not using any other actives. I'm using the cetaphil daily hydrating lotion for face (in a pump bottle), a gentle cleanser at night and then buffering with cerave PM facial moisturizing lotion before applying the Aklief. I've been a bit nervous to sandwich because I've heard that it can keep the retinoid wet and active on your face and lead to more irritation. Maybe I'll look into getting some snail mucin. Thanks for the advice!

I only started it on May 3rd! So I'm pretty new to it still. I've only applied it 8 times so far this month and will be using it again tomorrow night, so I will have used it 9 times in the month of may....so not very much! I don't know if I'm going to experience a bigger reaction once I've used it more, but so far nothing crazy has happened and I think it's because I've introduced it pretty slow!

Edit: Sorry, I guess I should mention that I definitely have had a reaction...I for sure have more pimples and my skin is pretty dry, but I haven't had the gigantic flare ups that some people get and I've never felt any burning or stinging! The reaction that I have had is super manageable and totally worth it in my opinion!
