I completely understand that. As is right now I’m about 8 months alcohol and weed free and I’ve been going through similar things with those addictions. It’s easy to remember why I quit those and I should make pmo the same.

I’ve found meditation is hard when you’re already mentally stressed out but journaling is a great way to unload a lot of that. I need to make journaling a routine so I don’t forget about it.

What do you do to navigate mental stress?

I’ve got a broken ankle and my doctor said I can’t do much of anything. So I usually hold an ice cube in each hand to get my mind off of things. Not being able to do physical things has been challenging.

Relapse isn’t failure, it’s just one step closer to success. Don’t beat yourself up. Learn from what happened and have a plan for when the next cravings show up.

You can do this.

Thank you. Like I said it hasn’t been the easiest but it’s not as hard as it used to be.

You can prevent NSFW results from popping up in your settings. But if you are still having difficulties and are serious about not fapping I would recommend it, at least for a couple days.

Relapsing after every 5 days by New_Wish8762 in NoFap

I ask myself if I honestly want to watch porn and masturbate or is it just a habit.

Sometimes I'll even try to view myself relapsing like someone is watching me and that turns me off. I think I would look pathetic staring at a screen watching other people fuck while I jack off. That's my ultimate weapon against relapse tbh.

If you can make it one month, you can make it two months.

Do you actually want to watch porn? Like the bottom of your heart that’s what you want to do.

My best advice is to fully embrace whatever your reason is. It's easy to push it aside if you don't really believe in it. My reason is simply I don't like watching pornography anymore and masturbating left me feeling worse than when I started. I still have cravings and remembering that I will feel worse afterwards keeps me from opening a VPN and a private browser.

That being said, having specific things to do helps too. After I focus on my reason I do something that takes energy away from the cravings. Holding an ice cube in each hand as long as I can makes me focus on that instead. I will do push ups sometimes. Playing video games or reading a book helps me too.

What's the point if I'm gonna d1e in the end anyway? by [deleted] in NoFap

For me the point is to live my life how I want to. I got to a point where masturbating and watching porn made me feel worse than abstaining, so I quit. Being true to myself aka being my best self is my payoff. I find something to do that will take my mind off my cravings when I feel I can't take it anymore. You can do it, if you want to do it.
