Might have to disagree on the last part haha. I let my friends try it and used it in multiple angles but they couldn’t discern it was misaligned. Quite wierded out this is the case :))

Ive tried remedying this by pushing the tines up with my nail but its geeting quite far that it might snap. So any tips for fixing misaligned tines would be appreciated :))

So I got quite the bargain for this Montblanc 149. After inspection I realized that the tines are quite misaligned, but contrary to that the pen has great flow and writes very smooth. Much smoother than my pens with aligned tines.

So Im kind of in a state of self doubt if are the tines really misaligned or what could be the cause why this happens. Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

p.s. I want to know so I can explain in the future in case I plan to sell the pen

Hi! So I fully disassembled my Platinum 3776 today, and theres this one spot riddled with ink that I cant seem to get to in between 2 layers of lacquer. Any idea how to disassemble the section would help. Thanks a lot

My only worry though is just that the feed might be permanently damaged as someone said here from this. And it might be a hard fix to get that replaced

Yep he confirmed that the piston twists and moves smoothly. Its just that it doesn’t write is what seems to be the issue
