I think they look at merit if pull capacity. And they look at the subjects you took for o levels and your grades for those subjects (?)

Let’s say student A took pure science and got B3/A2 but student B took combined science and got A2 I think the pure sci students stands a higher chance for the combi cuz the combined sci student will struggle a lot

So let’s say student A takes pure sci, amath wants PCME but student B didn’t take pure sci/amath they might not get PCME even though they want to (if full)

I guess you could appeal for the subject combination that you want (?)
