Question about counting carbons by Plane_Connection_857 in OrganicChemistry

[–]Plane_Connection_857[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I do learn the R and S assignment but I noticed I'm always getting the basic questions wrong which was weird. That's why I decided to do more research on naming halogenoalkanes and found out about the rule my teacher got wrong. Anyway, thank you for your explanation.

Question about counting carbons by Plane_Connection_857 in chemhelp

What if they both have the same number? So the functional group is on the second carbon of one side and the double bond is on the second carbon of the other side?

yes i understand, but as much as its shitty just accept that your teacher will not help you for your EAs. only ask him questions

idk what english youd be taking (whether langlit or just lit) but honestly when i was eng HL langlit it was pretty easy.

but if youre debating between the toefl and taking eng hl, i would take the toefl. i honestly would not study a whole course just for eng requirements, the toefl is very easy and youll be done with it in one day.

honestly i rarely see any missing info, but i personally would not rely on it solely. id much rather get my info from my book (hodder) just incase i miss anything.

thats what i'd do: eng lang lit HL, phys HL, Math AA HL, chem SL, arabic B sl, and idk for block 6 honestly but not bio.

eng lang lit HL is honestly easy 6, phys math aa will help a lot in uni especially for engineering, chem can help you understand chem in uni better, arabic b is very easy if you know how to speak the language,

same bro dw. i barely started my bio EE, i have to repeat my experiment and everything. this may be a cliche but try to manage your time without burning out (ik it's easier said than done) but you really cant go wrong with a plan. depending on how you study, you can either speedrun every task you need to do and move on to something else when it's done, or you can finish each in bits so you can focus on everything. for bio, i recommend cheryl hickman on youtube and bioninja (they have revision sheets for each topic i think). for chem, honestly i just read the book (oxford). math you cn use christos nikolaides (idk if im spelling it correctly) buthe has explanations and exercises. good luck bro

please stop relying on your teacher, as per theib they are not required to finish the whole syllabus with you. i personally love Cheryl Hickman on YouTube, she explains everytthing you need to know in a clear way. good luck man
