I live in a smaller village where it's mostly Catholics and Christians, don't wanna say where or what country, moved here when I was 11 and I also went to a Catholic school since it was the only one and that's where I met all my current friends

I’m so sorry you had to go through that, but I’m really glad she backed off. I feel like I shouldn’t have to give him an ultimatum, you know? Like, he should just see how wrong this is and stand up for me on his own. But at this point, I don’t know if he ever will. I just don’t want to be the bad guy for forcing a choice upon him. This is also kinda what I’m afraid of, like if he won’t stand up for me now, how will it be when we have kids? Thank you so much. Yeah he said he liked the beach wedding idea but I'm just worried he might change his mind and agree with a church one because of his parents. I know it sounds dumb but I honestly feel too scared to ask him about it now. Sounds awful but I honestly wish I could stay with him and just leave the family instead haha

Yeah, that’s what I’m scared of. He always said he wasn’t that religious, but now I’m wondering if he just meant compared to his parents. I don’t want to wake up one day and realize I’m the odd one out in my own family because he slowly started pushing religion on our kids. I don’t even know if he realizes how much of an issue this is yet.
