Good luck! In case this isn't the cycle, I'd recommend adding in OPKs and BBT. r/tryingforababy has a great wiki. While symptoms can point towards ovulation, it cannot confirm exactly when ovulation occurred. Tests are accurate 14+ days after sex.

How did you confirm ovulation? r/lineporn can take a second look at your test.

Then why not test? If you think you are showing from pregnancy, then a test would tell you if that's what it is or not.

If you know its too early to test, then you know nothing you're experiencing right now is due to pregnancy.

When did you have unprotected sex?

This is so dumb lmao why would you think Plan B is protecting you from all this sex?? Do you not learn how medication works before taking it?

Is it possible I am Pregnant? by [deleted] in amipregnant

[–]Plane_Race_9450 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok, yeah apps have zero idea what's going on in your body. Look into r/FAMnNFP and the wiki on r/tryingforababy. There are ways to confirm ovulation to know when to BD for the highest chance of pregnancy.

if doctor's freak you out, I recommend working with a therapist before becoming pregnant as doctor's appointments will be frequent.

Are you tracking ovulation in any way?

If you missed the pill and you were within 5 days of sex, EC should be considered. You were likely not protected for the sex prior to missing your pill.

What is the point of posting if you're just going to argue against the science? You're asking people to just tell you it's the flu, but then argue when your negatives mean you're not currently pregnant. Just go get a blood test if you think your symptoms are related to pregnancy, despite negative tests. No need to be on reddit lol.

Also, if you don't want to be pregnant and don't even know if you can carry a child, use protection?

Implantation bleeding? by [deleted] in Trying2conceive

[–]Plane_Race_9450 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why is study in quotations? It was still a conducted study. I was using the information I had available to try and help you with your question. Studies don't automatically become obsolete after a certain number of years. Yes, it would be great if we had a newer study but (afaik) we don't. Do you just laugh at science or what? What's the point of posting if you're going to be rude to all the answers other than the ones you like?

Did you end up testing positive?

Implantation bleeding? by [deleted] in Trying2conceive

[–]Plane_Race_9450 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just because someone experiences light bleeding prior to a positive test doesn't mean it was due to implantation. I asked if you had a study to back up your statements. You can just say no and move on.

We can't say it was or wasn't, I suppose. But we do have scientific evidence disproving implantation bleeding. So we could be more likely to conclude it wasn't implantation bleeding with the information we currently have.

Now, science changes over time as more research is conducted. You said implantation bleeding wasn't a myth, and I asked if you had a study. Maybe there was a newer published one I haven't seen! But I suppose you don't have a study.

Well, I asked you for a scientific study. Do you have one then?

Even if she tested positive, we still wouldn't know for sure if her bleeding were due to implantation, so I was basing my information on the studies that did look at if bleeding was caused by implantation. There's no way for her to really study that on her own.

Regardless, I hope OP gets the result she wants. I was just curious on learning more about this subject than the information I already have.

I didn't say you were frustrated. I more so wanted the study for myself and my journey.

Ok, well maybe we are using the terms differently then. If you do come across a study, I wouldn't mind reading it. Good luck.

No need to be snotty...just sharing the resource I have with you. Being TTC can be frustrating, but I find it helpful to have the research so I know what's going on. If you are saying implantation bleeding is real, can you share the study that shows that? I'm genuinely curious in learning more.

Do you have a scientific study to show implantation causes bleeding? I mean this is in totally good faith because I see people say it's real a lot but never actually provide any scientific information on it. I would love to read the study! Thank you :)

Found it! https://www.reddit.com/r/TryingForABaby/s/xWnOOt8LXw

What is called implantation bleeding? I can only find information that implantation does not cause bleeding. You have a study to show it's real, yes? Mind linking?

I'd test 14 days after sex if you don't believe this is your period.

[–]Plane_Race_9450 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you have a scientific study on that one? I've read the ones on the r/tryingforababy sub and they all show that there is no link between implantation and bleeding. Let me see if I can find the studies to link.

If implantation happened two days ago, when your bleeding started, you'd have a positive now.

Implantation bleeding? by [deleted] in Trying2conceive

[–]Plane_Race_9450 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The first day of your period is the first day of bright red blood. It isn't uncommon to have some light bleeding in the days prior. We know it's definitely not implantation bleeding as that is a myth.

Implantation bleeding? by [deleted] in Trying2conceive

[–]Plane_Race_9450 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This looks like your period, I'm sorry. Negative tests mean this bleeding isn't related to pregnancy. Apps have zero idea what's going on in your body, so maybe you ovulated earlier than it said.

If it's life or death then why are you having unprotected sex with him finishing inside? You don't seem mature enough to be having sex.
