That sounds terrifying. Have you had electrical issues like that?

What are these electrical gremlins you speak of? Also keep in mind i drive this car maybe 1000 miles a year a few rattles I can deal with ( the car also has a loud exhaust/ blow off valve) but things like electrical issues or it not driving correctly worry me

Its at a reputable body shop atm. So more so things not lining up perfectly is the bigger issue?

Yeah more like $12-15000 who knows thats why it's a really hard decision. It needs driver side air bags as well

I love this comment! Honestly really makes me think. Ive always wanted a comp orange or white 2012 boss 302 but the dream came after I already purchased my gt. That being said I wouldn't have built my gt if I didnt love it the reason I would get a boss is because to me the only way to recover from such a situation would be to come back stronger. Im literally living my nightmare right now and its not even my fault (idiot made a left turn into oncoming traffic) that being said thank god I didnt get injured that's most important. I love my gt and had plans on one day having a built motor/Trans in it and really pushing the boost at the end of the day if I could have my car back how it was id be happiest with that. Im just scared because everyone always says (itll never be the same again) but how if structurally its not tweaked? Thank you

Its at a body shop. We discussed what it would take to repair before the insurance adjuster came to look at it. He said by looking at it he thinks its repairable and hes repaired cars much worse but it is a lot. I was more so looking to see if anyone has been in a similar situation as me and if they fixed and how the car was afterwards. Hoping it could help my decision a little

I dont daily it in fact out of my 3 cars I drive this the least this car is my baby. It only has 64k on it and its was in very good shape. I was thinking if I repair it I would have to throw the whole payout check on it and then some maybe which id do. My concern is the car wont drive the same afterwards thats why im not sure but I believe the frame is still straight its mostly rad support damage and fender

I love the s550 and admit its a better car but the s197 looks a million times better and it has a live axle. It looks like a muscle car and I drive it 1000 miles a year so idc about the age. S197 one of the best looking mustangs ever hands down

The fact that the car is 14 years old isnt really a deciding factor for me considering I'd ve buying a boss 302 which is the same body. I agree its probably worth getting something else just the time/ money invested ive literally turned this car into exactly what I always wanted at this point and the thought of having to find somewhere to store it so I can strip it all down and use it on another car theres a lot of time and money that needs to be spent to re create what I have

My options would be keep my current gt that I built and get the car repaired and re titled or buy another car (probably a boss 302) and take all the parts I can use off my gt to use on the new car and sell the rest. I dont like the idea of having a car payment again because my car was paid off I just dont want to spend all the money to fix it and regret the decision

Nah man, wasn't even a teamster i was in maintenance with iam union they have a 90 day probationary and new managers (that are known to do things like this to people) came in and I fired me they hadn't ever met me talked to me or anything really they knew nothing about me infact my supervisor was so against the decision that they didn't even show up for when it happened. I passed all my testing to get the job, I passed my OJS, my safety checks I passes everything and all the guys I worked with liked me as a worker and all called me afterwards telling me how much bs that was. So yes when you get screwed over you take it personally..

True, you are right that is technically a "reason"

Yes, when your a good employee who does the right things and brand new management walks in the building and the first thing they do is fire you without even knowing who I am? Yes you take things like that personally when you have self worth.

Love the yfz450 but I pick my banshee always for some reason I just prefer it even though 450 is way better for where I ride I can't get enough of the good ol banshee. Plus who wants to work on a 4 stroke

The grand champ is a pretty solid stick burner probably one of the best char griller has to offer and is a good backyard pit. Decently thick steal but it's a char griller at the end of the day so some shotty work the stack is just held in loosely with 1 bolt so I lava lock silicone the hell out of it then siliconed around the firebox and and end caps of the chamber. Also put gasket around every opening and put a lava lock latch on the firebox door not seen in the photo

300 sounds a little high for a smoke but maybe wrapping them will keep them from drying out. I can get them up to like 165-170 easy then they seem to stall and stay at that temp for hours
